The Bottle of Never Forgetting
A magical bottle. Chaos unleashed. Friends whose special abilities may not be enough.
It was a routine spring day of wandering around and getting into harmless mischief until 15-year-old Jedidiah Wilson uncovered a bottle etched with scratches that look like they were once words. When Jed goes against his better judgement and opens the cork on the bottle, he unleashes a chaos that threatens the entire world and its history. Now Jed and his 64-year-old, no-longer-imaginary friend Mavis must enlist the help of the Magic People and their special abilities to bind up the magic again.
Can they live with their own pasts while they save the world's future?

Although this is the 1st book of the Magic People that I've read it was o.k. as a stand alone. I am an Honest ARC reviewer and can recommend this book to all ages,Nothing inappropriate within. The story line wasn't hard to follow ( although If I had read the 2 books before in the series,it would have been a better read). the Darkness lives.

MAGIC BOTTLE.
Jedidiah found a bottle he could not read the label on the bottle so he decided to open it.
Oh no he let out something out, that bottle should have stayed shut forever because the entire world is now at threat .
Now Jed and Mavis have to put it right.
But with the help of Magic people can they bind up the magic again, can they figure out how to do it or will the world be stuffed forever.
Lots of twists and turns in the book you think you have figured it out and wham something changes.
A good story hard to stop reading as the characters bring you in and you become a part of the story.
What will happen next will they succeed in stopping the chaos read on to find out......
Cannot wait for next book

Teenage Jed and elderly Mavis make an odd and oddly charming couple in their adventures. I love the grandson-grandma vibe in their relationship. I love that Mavis is only sometimes wise. She may have started as Jed8s imaginary friend, but I think she is a very realistic older person. And the magic is just about perfect too. Just scary enough to be a good read, but not dark. This book, like the others in the series, is a good read for anyone from middle school right through the elderly. It would be a great companion read for children and their grandparents, I think. Also a great beach book.

What a great story. Loved the characters woven into the story and adding such richness to the book. The twists of good and evil throughout the tale kept you wanting to read more and see what happens next, it was hard to put down. A truly wonderful and intriguing book. Will be looking for more book by Andi Cumbo-Floyd to read and enjoy.
