Required reading for a class, but actually rather engrossing. Well-written, it builds on each concept as it is introduced so that the reader gets a firm foundation for atmospheric science. I liked the topical essays included at the end of every chapter.

Great book about Weather. Really enjoyed it even though it was a textbook for a class. Made concepts easier to understand. Would definitely recommended to someone academically interested in weather.
