Dajjal: The Anti Christ

Rate this book
At a time when many people are attempting to relate current events and trends in the world to interpretations of the prophecies contained in the Book of Revelations, and the writings of Nostradamus, and the predictions of fashionable clairvoyants, the author does much the same - but by referring to some of the prophecies which are contained in the Qur'an and in the recorded sayings of the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Dajjal is not simply a catalogue of such prophecies, nor is it concerned with analyzing specific events in the light of these prophecies. In viewing life in general in the late twentieth century the book is not merely a 'religious' critique of an aimless society. Rather, it examines and compares the outward existential behavior, along with its inward psychological reality, both of those who do not base their way of life on prophetic guidance, and of those who do.

The Dajjal, the Anti-Christ is characterised as a Jew, but it is usually written of as the Dajjal System, Commonsense and Invasion explain it in a rather hysterical way. David Icke's isn't much better, as you might expect. If you enjoy reading conspiracy theories (though I hope you don't subscribe to them) you might well rate this book higher than the 1 star I generously gave it.

"Ahmad Thomson, deputy chairman of Britain's Association of Muslim Lawyers and occasional adviser to the prime minister, recently claimed that Blair had been pressured into entering the Iraq war by a sinister conspiracy of Jews and Freemasons. In his 1994 book, ''The Next World Order," Thomson (a convert to Islam) claimed that the Holocaust is a ''big lie" and that the presence of US soldiers in Saudi Arabia is especially outrageous because many of them are Jewish." - Cathy Young, writing in the Boston Globe in 2005.

This is the second despicable author/book in two days. I have a troll, an old, old troll, who has surfaced from ten years of trolling me on and off on Xanga and here. When I discovered who it was here and blocked them, all the Christian trolling stopped. However, Xanga announced the other day that it would be closing down so I posted a couple of times on my blog after years of ignoring it. Up she comes! Or at least her persona, the good Christian wife of a military man who raises her children full-time and loves to bake and hates Jews. I wonder who s/he really is?

This book open our eyes & give new perspective on political & economy system in the globalization era. How this Dajjal system make us the prisoner of capitalism & globalization. Must be read if we want to know what is the actual system that we lived, what is our real world.

Allahu A'lam.

It was educational and made me see things in a different perspective. However, it was repetitive with the same concepts coming up again and again.

This books kinda validate my thoughts that there is something going on in this world. We are living in a system, and we don't know what are we dealing with. The author tells about the history until the situation we're living today.
The translation to Bahasa annoys me, and there's no chapter so we don't get the initial frame when we read a section.

I think the name of the book is a little deceptive. The book was really about how the world is preparing for the dajjal, not so much dajjal.

Some interesting concepts and thoughts, however, can be boring at times with many sufi fairytales thrown in.

The book was long. I read the first 25 pages and I felt like I had a read Trilogy. The same sentences were constantly repeated and at the end of the 25 pages I simply told myself 'NO MORE' and showed my brain some respect by putting the book down. God knows what I did with this book and I would not recommend this book AT ALL. I read it in my first year of Islam and now a Muslim 13 years I still wouldn't recommend it.

I give one star for it being about the apocalypse which is always fun, and another star for giving an introduction to the ahadith that surrounds the end times. Interesting theories, however its reliance upon anti semitic jewish conspiracy sources sucks big style. I should probably have given it no stars

al-Masih ad-Dajjal (Messiah Palsu) mempunyai tiga sisi. Dajjal sebagai oknum. Dajjal sebagai gejala sosial budaya global. Dajjal sebagai kekuatan ghaib.
