Outdated, obviously, because it still refers to ads in "the papers." It also seems to exist in a world where it's cool to cold-call someone about a job opening and schedule an interview before sending a cover letter. It offers advice like "Hey, maybe ask your friends for jobs instead of answering open listings?" Most of the material is geared towards people who have already spoken to their potential employer or have a mutual friend to reference, which makes a big difference.
