Deceased High: Deluxe Redux

Rate this book
Discover where the international award-winning series all began in this Zombie RiZing books 1-3 collection. It's Beath and her band of misfit survivors versus the end of the entire world. Gulp. Since dark magic unleashed the Zombie RiZing, society has fallen apart. Food's running low, danger's running high and other survivors are just as nasty as the zombies looking for someone to - err something - to eat. But if Beath and her friends thought things were bad already well there's plenty more monsters ready to turn it up a notch. But the same magic forces that changed the world for the worst are finally ready to even the score, charging Beath and her friends with the power to fight back. Whatever happens from here it's going to be end-of-the-world epic. Zombies, monsters, magic, mayhem, fast-paced action, colossal adventure, sharp dialogue and general hilarity -
all wrapped up in awesome illustrations and super-cool augmented reality collectables! Be a survivor!

*Matt donates money from each book sold to find a cure for Rett Syndrome, a neurological condition his youngest daughter has*

Like the legendary R M Williams, Matt was born in Jamestown in rural South Australia. But that’s where the remarkable similarities between these two end. While Reginald went from bushman to world renowned millionaire outback clothing designer, Matt is a complete dag who was lured by the city lights of Adelaide. Kindergarten in the big smoke was a culture shock, but it is here he first discovered his love of storytelling.

In high school that love found an outlet in a series of completely unflattering cartoons about fellow students and teachers alike. He survived long enough to further his art into a successful career in multimedia design but, like a zombified leech, the lure of the written word gnawed at him, forcing him to pen his first novel, the award-winning sci-fi comedy epic, Kings of the World. It was followed the next year by Amazon Australia dystopian sci-fi best-seller Apocalypse: Diary of a Survivor.

Matt donates part-proceeds of each book sold to find a cure for Rett Syndrome, a neurological condition the youngest of his three children, Abby, has. As a gorgeous Rett angel, Abby cannot walk, talk or use her hands in a meaningful way. So, not only is each of your book purchases a ticket to fantastically rounded, character driven, hilarious and poignant sci-fi awesomeness, it wraps you in a warm feeling that you’ve made a difference to people who deserve your help the most. Like the zombified leech it’s a no-brainer.

For young readers, but I read it as an adult. A funny, action filled take on kids in high school banding together during a zombie apocalypse. It was nice reading something lighter for a change that put a smile on my face.

Interesting twist

An interesting twist on the concept of a zpoc with the many different kinds of Zs and other creatures that are not Zs but demons and giants....and magic

Reading first three book set borrowed from Kindle Unlimited. Characters seem super one dimensional.

Got a young reader at home that loves zombies? Then they will love this book!
It's difficult to find good zombie content that is age-appropriate! Matt sure provides in this series!
Think The Walking Dead for kids!

The threat is real, the zombies are real, the world has ended and where are the kids stuck? School! Even the end of the world doesn't get these kids a day off! Filled with hilarious twists and turns and some fantastic oneliners this is a great book for any zombie-mad young reader!
