Start your review of Jesus and Archaeology

A series of good to great essays about the time and places surrounding the life of Jesus of Nazareth. I especially enjoyed the essay by Jack Welch about the real reasons Jesus was tried and condemned to death. What was confusing all my life (why would the Jews greet him with hosannas and strewn palm leaves on Sunday and then clamor for his blood on Friday morning?) is now clear, due to Welch's appreciable research and understanding.
