My thoughts Menopause a woman's life is not only painful sometimes physically but also deals with psychological aberrations. Incidentally, menopause is not a single thing, it has three sisters like phases too! These are well explained in the book. This is a time when women in their post-middle-age usually tend to be irritating, moody, calm, and anxious. These changes happen so quickly that including the woman, and her people fail to understand the root cause. Also, the changes that occur in the skin and the body are often neglected. The skin becomes rough or unwanted hair grows, or many other problems arise. These are usually dealt with outer solutions like cosmetics, surgeries and make-up, without disregarding the benefits of these solutions, proper diet, unharmful medical procedures and natural treatments. I know quite a bit about nutrition & fitness, so maybe that's why I found this to be a dud. No new information and was basic information, not as geared towards perimenopausal women as I had hoped. Do not recommend.
I'm going through menopause right now and I have gain weight. I'm not overweight but I would like to be smaller, but I eat so much junk food. The healthy thing I eat is my chicken salad but. I use lots of dressing. I have to figure this out. Good book.
