Time to put my magic to the test or die trying. Scott worries about my soul. Can you believe that crap? I've killed multiple people because I was too darn stubborn to accept that I was the reincarnated Celtic goddess Brigit, and now, that I've embraced my goddess self, I've figured out how to bring everyone back from the dead, and he's too busy worrying about my soul when what he should be worried about is my boot in his rear end. To make matters more complicated, Alaric returned from his show with shocking news. If I was smart, I would hop on the next plane and get out of Kildares, but I've never been very good at taking care of myself. And do you know who showed up? I can't freaking believe it. I thought he was out of my life for good, but bad luck always follows me like many of my bad habits. I don't have time to play games. I need to learn to use my magic before the Dark Moon approaches or I'll miss out on my chance to bring back to life everyone who died trying to protect me. The Goddess Chronicles are a fast-paced urban fantasy adventure with a fierce heroine, hot powerful heroes, and loads of magic to make life more explosive. If you like Twilight, Mortal Instruments, anything by Chandelle LaVaun, Linsey Hall, Leia Stone, or B.R. Kingsolver, you will love The Goddess Chronicles .

The story line is super fun but didn’t hit the mark for me. I enjoy a goods vs evil, Gods renunciation story line. Interesting in the story overall but the characters where sometimes simpering and seemed to lack the basic common sense that hey something not right in a lot of situations. Being reincarnated Gods I feel like maybe that they should have a little more intuitive especially when they think back and see something is wrong and maybe they should look into what that was. The story is a little lacking in action and I didn’t realize I was dropping in mid series but I don’t feel like I need to go back and reread the previous books because there’s so much remembering what happened. The narrator did good on some characters except the Irish Males. I struggle to tell character them apart and one I thought was a woman until she said he. The story is intriguing enough that I will continue the series. I will say it’s also very YA appropriate.

So I have decided that each book just needs to add one more star to the rating. The last one was six and thus this one needs seven stars. The more I read, the more I need.

This book flew by so quickly I was almost kind of shocked when it ended. It feels like so much has happened and I don't even know where to begin, and yet, not enough happened. Scott and Gigi's powers are growing, Gigi is discovering so much out about herself, about Brigit and the boys who are at war over her heart and/or hand.

I really wish I was one of those reviewers who can pick over details and analyze everything, but I'm not. I like to gush over the characters and how much I love everything. The story is so good. The characters are so amazing. They are right there, so close I could almost touch them, and that always amazes me. The more Gigi discovers, the farther down the metaphorical rabbit hole I go.

Magic. Discoveries. Explanations (sort of). It's all packed together with a cute little two-toned ribbon.

Gigi still will not admit to anyone other than herself, that she is the reincarnation of the Goddess Brigid. Scott on the other hand, has embraced the knowledge that his is a God although he is having great difficulty in controlling his power.
Brigid discovers Breas' true nature through delving into his mind. Not only is the reason behind her anger and revulsion towards Breas revealed, but the fact that Breas has the Chalice of Life and intends to use it to bring an army of his people back to life.
I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
Happy reading. Annemarie

At first I wasn't too sure about this series, k.B Anne was a new author for me. But after reading/listening to the first 3 books, I started to really enjoy these. Gigi is a very unique and interesting character, a bit of a bada**. She's both funny and slightly terrifying if I'm honest, her family are well written. The storyline is really good, though I did get confused a few times. Though to be fair I didn't read the description, I went in blind and couldn't figure out what was going on. I like the story, it's well paced. I can't wait to buy the others in this series and finish reading them.

*I received a free copy of this book from the author via voracious readers only in exchange for an honest review*
Another great entry to this series, I felt compelled to keep reading and find out what happened next. The writing is great, fast paced and hilarious that’s easy to follow and hard to put down. I try hard in my reviews not to include any spoilers which is difficult when you’re into book 3 of a series but I will say that I never liked Breas the slimy little snake! Scott has become more serious and protective, he’s kept some of his carefree joking around with Gigi but it’s much less so, I miss the fun but I can understand why. I’ve enjoyed finding out more about Gigi’s past and her connections with Breas and Alaric and I am much less suspicious of Alaric after finishing this book.
If you’re wondering whether you should continue reading this series then I say yes, it’s well worth it and I can’t wait to get into the fourth one.

Better & better

This series keeps on improving with each successive novel. It is not repetitive like many series are prone to be.
The heroine & her brother squabble like all siblings & it’s fun to read.
Now comes the gruelling wait for the next sequel.
