Run from the Dead: Book 5: A Zombie Apocalypse
Not everyone can outrun the dead.
Tess had it set up perfectly. Until the Army took it all away. Weren’t they meant to be the good guys? The ones to save us from the zombie nightmare.
You would have thought living in a tower block in Manchester might be a death sentence when the virus took hold. But Tess turned it to her advantage. The residents were stronger together, and that was how she intended to keep things. Until the Army became the raiders, they had to hide from and defend against.
Liz survived the first day of the apocalypse when her husband and stepdaughter hadn’t. The weeks that followed were complete hell for her, but she was determined to get to the only person she had left in the world; the other stepdaughter who hated her guts. Family should stick together though, and there was no way she was leaving Tess to fend for herself.
Two months in and Tess needs help. Anna, Rob, Marcus and Frankie find it impossible to say no.
But doing the right thing isn’t always the smartest.

Excellent series !!
This is an excellent series . Great story that is fast paced and full of action . The characters are interesting,strong and likeable . Looking forward to the next book.

This is excellent! Another brilliant, fast paced, exciting adventure set is this English, zombie end of the world series! Great ideas for the story, good plot & character progression, a great thrill to read! I do love this writers work & always look forward to the next one!

I began reading Run from the Dead series last summer, and after falling in love with the characters and story, I decided to grab Book 5. As usual, I was satisfied. We follow our main characters, Rob, Anna, Marcus, and new characters, Tess and Liz, in a harrowing mission to free their people from the military, who have become hardened and cruel in the first few weeks of the zombie apocalypse.
The story is fast-paced, and the tension and suspense are enough to keep you on the edge of your seat. You'll want to root for the heroes and despise the villains.
What I enjoyed most about this book was the friendship and love shared between the main cast. Despite the crumbling world around them, they adhere to their values and risk it all to do what's right. The story was less about the zombies and more about the importance of finding a community and being kind in a desolate world. Each character had significant development, and the story was so immersive that I felt I was running from the zombies right there with them.
There is some swearing and violence, so I do not recommend it to younger readers. But if you are looking for a horror book, I highly recommend this one; it was perfect for spooky season!

Fantastic, exciting read
Great crew of survivors. Love the interaction between characters. Anne and Rob, love their story and can't wait to find out what happens next.

Honestly when it started out I wasn't to sure as alot of néw characters but honestly ended up lying it and so many badass women
