This is a wonderfully dense and thorough text which should hold a permanent place in every stable office and on the desks of pre-vet students everywhere. Nothing, however, will replace the practical knowledge of seeing the smorgasbord of lamenesses in ill moving horses through years of watching, and additionally it should never replace a veterinarian's confirmation at the diagnostic stage.
