All I've Got

Rate this book
I’ve spent my whole life in the spotlight. From star athlete in high school to the major leagues in the blink of an eye. When an injury suddenly ends my career, I return home a celebrity. The problem with that is I don’t want to be a celebrity. I want to teach kids, give them the chances that I had when I was kid. My best friend gets me the job I've always wanted. Coaching the Little League All Star team from his hometown. So I pack up and move as fast as I can to live my dream working with kids. One in particular catches my eye but local politics might prevent him from becoming the star player I know he can be. That young man is not the only one that catches my eye in this town though. Can his mom overcome the years of abuse and gossip this town has piled on her? I don’t know, but I’m going to give it all I’ve got to make her mine. From USA Today Best Selling Author Marissa Ann

Sweet but super short....is there a problem stretching out this story? It has potential but I read it in 20 minutes.

Oh my heart strings! This was such a sweet short story! I truly hope that I see more of Becky, Brian and Max! I highly recommend this short story! There are no cliffhangers!

Becky grew up in a small town and had a hard life. With rumors that started when she was in high school, she has poured everything into making her life for her son (Max) better then she ever had. Letting the ghost of her past stay in her present for years just to keep her son happy, she never expected to catch the new guy’s eye.

Brian is a retired baseball player who comes to a small town to coach a little league. He never thought he would find the love of his life until he walked into the diner to give a boy on his team some pointers and was intrigued by Max’s mother. He will stop at nothing to get to know her.

If you are looking for a quick read, I highly recommend this book! I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving a free copy.

Becky is a single mom just trying to make ends meet while raising her son who loves baseball. Becky's son is trying out for the all-stars where he meets his new coach, Brian. After suffering a career-ending injury, former pro baseball Brian has now taken on his second passion, coaching. Brian sees Max's natural talent and definitely wants him on the team. But everything changes when Brian's world is turned upside down when he sees Becky. She doesn't see a former pro baseball player, just the man that's coaching young kids. And that's a refreshing change for Brian, who sees beyond the wall Becky has up.

This was a great story about opening up and trusting again. Brian found his home with Becky and Max.💜

Good story

It was a good story. The characters were great I just wish the story was longer. To see what happens with Brian and Becky and the town. Although it was a short read it was good. I would recommend it.

Quick read

While I really ,really did like this story it ended too abrupt for me.
I love this author and read everything by her. I just wanted maybe another chapter or two to finish this out.
Overall a cute quick read.

Had potential to be really good. FMC finally faces off to her bully and nothing happens. FMC and MMC know each other a week, go on like 3 dates and get engaged in public and that’s it

No repercussions or follow up regarding her kids father and that she had an NDA

This could have been really good but to much missing
