I bought Ram Oran's Mark of Cain in the airport in Tel Aviv on the way home to the states. I am guessing on the date I started. I know it had just come out. A page turner! I couldn't put it down and gave my paperback copy to five more people who couldn't put it down. The last person have it back in broken clumps. Hard to find another copy that's not super expensive.

Good run through the evolution of a character's punishment, appearance, and impact on various religions' iconography and secular symbolism. Am using a background for my poetry manuscript currently entitled, Cain's Offering.
