When hope is dimmest, a ray of light breaks through... Daisy Being abducted from Earth was terrifying. When the fish-headed, aquatic aliens took me I knew I was in trouble. Thankfully I was raised to be a fighter. I've struggled against my captors at every turn but how many times can a girl get beat down before coming to realize you can't win? It's wearing me down and I'm finally coming to realize there's no Prince Charming coming to rescue me. I can't give up though, not yet. In a desperate attempt I join up with another girl from Earth and this time I'm either getting free or else. There is no other option, I can't live like this. Then the floor shakes and winged demons from hell invade. At least they're fighting the aquatics but is this a rescue or am I trading one master for another? In this battle it's not just my life at stake, this time my heart is on the line too. Darnok Another mission, one more battle. Maybe this will be my last, maybe not. I can't bring myself to care anymore.Being bigger than all the other warriors my entire life has been one lone string of abuse. The other males pick fights with me to prove how tough they are and the Queens abuse me because I'm so big I always stand out. All they see is the giant, none of them see the person I am.None of them see my dreams or my desire to be accepted. How I want someone to love me for me. Even my one friend barely sees because in this world I have to hide that part of me away. There is no compassion in my world. There is nothing to live for except to fight. Go to the next battle and see if this time it's my last. It doesn't matter, there is no other end for me. Sooner or later, it will happen and I've accepted it. At least then my suffering will end.Until this mission. Until I meet the human female Daisy. Then everything changes. I'll fight all of them to save her, to make her mine. She is the light in my universe and I'm not going to let it fade
Juno Wells grew up on Florida’s Space Coast, watching the shuttles take off from Cape Canaveral. When she hit college, her childhood fantasies about space travel turned highly romantic. Now her mind reels with space adventures of fantastic alien lords in distant galaxies, and the earth women they love.
Wells’ stories explore the complex, sensual relationships between inhabitants of different star systems. There are always happy endings just as there is always a new world to explore.

Juno Wells wove an amazing tale with Alien Protector's Rescued Bride. As I was reading the story, I didn't want to stop reading. I wanted to know keep exploring the world the Author was creating.
Daisy and Darnok are a beautiful couple. I love his brokenness and her natural ability to love everything he considers wrong with himself. It's through her, he realizes he is more than just a Breeder. He's strong and protective, wanting to care for and protect the ones he cares for. She is accepting of others, needing to help whoever she can.
I can't wait to read more of Juno's books. She is an excellent Author.
Daisy Callahan was once again being dragged to a cell from the hibernation unit by her aquatic abductor. She was cold, naked, and wet. Meiko Hara was in the cell next to hers and they chatted about how they were abducted and if their family survived.
Darnok, one of the Draconian warriors, is given his assignment to gather specific supplies and to drop off minerals at the trade center and deposit the credits for the purchasing. His friend Roan was going to be left behind because he used to be a breeder under the alien Queen’s rule rather than a warrior, but Darnok texted the leader that this was a good mission for Roan to see another planet in relative safety. They discovered two humans being held captive and they freed them. A medical triage was set up when they found 130 women captives. Meiko, her sister Aiko, and Daisy worked with Roan to get medical histories from the woman and get them food and water. Daisy’s mind kept turning her thoughts to Darnok who continued to fight on the other ship to rescue the woman. She can see past the rough, scarred appearance of the alien, Darnok, and seems to know the gentle heart inside the male.
On the other ship, Darnok is concerned the self-serving aquatic enemy may harm the hibernating queens they are rescuing. So they hurry to the lower levels. When everyone is saved, they are disseminated on the 4 ships for safety. Repairs start on the aquatic ship that Meiko, Aiko, and Daisy now own. In the midst of the repairs, a package is delivered to Daisy, a lovely gown and shoes but no identification of the giver. But as the surprise gifts keep coming, Daisy eventually discovers her mystery admirer and the two get more serious. But as if happiness is only given out in small quantities, an alarm sounds and Daisy is once more kidnapped! Will her warrior save her? Or will she lose the happiness and more that she almost realized?
This was an interesting look at a different alien culture where the men revered females as queens, carried out the requests of any woman and protected them with their lives. With a human queen now in place, things are improving, while they all hope to find a world to start over in together. The author does a good job in making the environment the reader sees seem very real. Will they find what they are looking for? Will they escape the next attack?
This is a good sci-fi alien romance, with a likable couple, and a good addition to the series. I am glad that this series is continuing, as I am curious about the world the author has created. This book gets 3.5 stars from me, rounded up to 4 stars.
I like that this series has a different take on the alien men -- even though they are physically strong and powerful, their culture is completely matriarchal. They have been abused and enslaved by their evil queens for centuries, but they still revere and treasure all women. They are alpha males, yet they are still happy to be led by women -- what a refreshing concept!
Some other reviewers didn't like that the men in this series are subservient to women, but I think it makes sense with their history. It is all they have ever known. That doesn't make them weak -- they are just doing what they must to allow them and their children to survive.
There is a mistake on the cover of this book that I find annoying. The same mistake was made on several of the other books in this series, too. Most of the Draconian males are described as not having hair, but the man on the cover has very long, white hair. It is a pet peeve of mine, but I think the cover pictures should match the character descriptions in the book.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
Every hero deserves happiness Oh wow! This is such a good book. I really felt like I was taken to the stars as I was reading. I love how this warrior’s soft insides finally get to see the light of day when he meets his queen. The author did a great job of keeping the story full of action right until the HEA. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
This is my favorite thus far Darnok & Daisy are worth 5🌟s💖
This fifth book in the series is truly my favorite thus far. It has a very Beauty and the supposed Beast feel. Which of course is my all time favorite fairytale, and I'm not ashamed to say I also preferred the Beast over the "Prince" . All of the Draconian Warriors are large, but Darnok surpasses them all he's massive and scarred from not just the battles he's fought but from the abuse he's loved through from his ex Draconian evil Queen. What very few see because they don't look beyond his scars is the noble, loyal, gentle and loving male that he truly is. He expects he'll die a warriors death and never know passion, love or family. Until he rescues Daisy. She is a human woman who was stolen from Earth by an aquatic race that deals in slavery. They were going to sell her as a sex salve or food they don't care which. Daisy was taken, beaten out in stasis, woken , and beaten again. She's tired and she's just about given up all hope when a gorgeous scarred Draconian warrior comes to her rescue. Funny thing is they are both attracted to one another and both of them are socially awkward. Yes, there are some misunderstandings and once they start talking openly they find that obstacles that seemed impossible to get around actually mean nothing at all. It's beautiful to see the way Darnok absolutely adores her and does some of the most wonderful things for her and Daisy appreciates a real warrior. Knights in shining armour are the ones you want to stay far away from its the knights in armor that is dented, scratched and beaten beyond recognition that you want. For they are the true warriors that know what it is to protect, defend and love something so passionately that they are willing to fight for it! Daisy my type of girl. She knows this simple truth and does everything in her power to make sure Darnok knows his own worth. It's awesome and my favorite thus far💖💖💖💖💖💖
Daisy, the female human lead, has been kept caged for months in an alien spaceship after an unknown amount of time in stasis. When the ship lands on a planet, she’s afraid she’s about to be sold and finally finds the courage to fight in the hopes of escape.
Darnok, the male dragon humanoid warrior lead, is bigger than most of his compatriots and scarred from damage inflicted by his previous “Queen”, who revelled in torturing him to see if she could make him submit. Sent on a supply acquisition mission, he and his men happen to find Daisy and her companion and rescue them.
Darnok knows that no Queen would ever choose him for a permanent companion but he feels drawn to timid Daisy and is determined to care for her until she selects a more “suitable” companion. Daisy can’t understand why Darnok keeps running from her presence…
This story is dual POV, well written, and a fast-paced, action focused, sci fi adventure romance, which contains a well developed romance as well as strong non-romance plot. I enjoyed the cooperation between characters (lead and secondary) to resolve the non-romance plot. I enjoyed the quieter character of Daisy compared to many other lead characters, and appreciated that she was still an effective advocate for less fortunate others. I enjoyed Darnok’s unselfish care for Daisy, and his shock that she would want a damaged warrior permanently. I enjoyed the relationship and character development. I enjoyed the secondary characters and their involvement in the story.

Daisy Callahan was abducted by aquatic aliens and they kept putting her in and taking her out of hibernation. She fought every time she could. So, she was put with the other human trouble maker, Meiko Hara. One day, Meiko woke, and her twin sister was gone. Darnok remembers his once Draconian Queen Rovinda reaping eggs, and children. Queen Cassandra had saved them. So, Darnok, is sent out to search for more human queens to save. Darnok reports saving Meiko & Daisy to Takadon Mathadar and Queen Cassandra.
I found this different point of view to be fascinating as Darnok did little things for Daisy. It was so cute and sad, because he didn’t believe himself worthy for mating a Queen. Human Queens are vastly different from Draconian ones, especially because of the darn parasite that makes them nuts and evil. Things go to heck when the ship is attacked. I found myself putting the AC on and chewing on my nails and freaking out. I wanted to cry. Daisy impresses me with her ingenuity a lot throughout the book. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Darnok and Daisy are perfect for each other. Seeing the baby Draconians always brings a smile to my face because they are little implets that are flittering about and getting into trouble. lol.

Daisy and Darnok story helped answer some of the unanswered questions from the previous book. They were a cute couple and I liked how she helped draw him out and express his feeling. They had been abused and were gun shy and very afraid of changing the conditioning they were stuck in. Still think that there is no way human women would be okay with having so many babies. They would insist the males and themselves would have birth control to manage their clan. Not to mention the fear of population growth stripping resources like Earth had done. One thing I am not sure author is aware of is her repeatedly putting human woman in the same or similar personality and ethically minded way. We have diverse religions, and backgrounds. Not all would be peaceful and gentle or like to be dominated. Many would be warriors (some with eye for eye, look at history, some women came up with worse torture methods) and some would be dominant in sexuality. Not to mention with how many women to men ratio on earth their would be same sex couples, or bisexual. Same would be for draconians.
Human Daisy was abducted from Earth by some aquatic aliens. She has struggled all of the time against her captors and is starting to realise that there is no one to come and rescue her. Some winged demons (or at least they look like demons) are fighting the aquatics and it is not clear if it is a rescue or a capture. Draconian Warrior Darnok is bigger than all of the other warriors and so everyone notices the size and not the person or personality. All he has are battles and saving the more worthy males for the females that they are finding. He meets Daisy and everything changes - suddenly he is determined to fight everything and everyone to save her and make her life comfortable.
I liked this story with Darnok having to accept that he had value (as do all men) and that it is wrong to think of them as disposable. I enjoyed Daisy and her attitude to life. It was a lovely story that had lots of merits as it changed the way that the Draconians were thought of and that they ALL had value (a bit like the fact that it is also true in real life ). Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.
I think this is my favourite one of this series so far. This is Darnock and Daisy's story and it doesn't disappoint. When Daisy is rescued from the Aquatics she finds herself attracted to Darnock, but Darnock feels that he is unworthy, a monster who doesn't deserve a queen. Despite this he leaves her gifts, no matter how they turn out. As they start to get closer and Darnock realises that Daisy is serious about him, the Moltans attack taking Daisy as well as three eggs. Desperate to rescue his queen, Darnock will do anything to try and save her. Daisy is resourceful and equally determined and finds help from an unexpected source. I love Daisy's attitude that the warriors are not expendable and her determination to ensure that more and more people realise their importance. Feisty, strong-willed, determined, generous and kind, she is perfect for Darnock, whose past has left not just physical scars but mental ones too. Hot, steamy, action-packed and full of drama, you will not be able to put this book down.
“A small part of my soul shrivels up and dies every time I see their reaction to me. The looks of horror and revulsion followed quickly by pity is difficult to see on their pretty faces... I have no wish to affect them so. Though I wish it were not so, I am a monster in their eyes.”
I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. While I loved both Daisy and Darnok, Darnok was the one I loved the most. I've always loved the males that stand out for some reason or other- usually an undesirable physical attribute- and they are made to feel less worthy or outcast, and just need to meet the right woman to love them and show them just how worthy and valued they are. Darnok is much bigger than his fellow warriors and was singled out and abused Queens, covered in scars.
I loved how Daisy and Meiko were rescued. If I wasn't hooked before, I was hooked then. The initial conversations were amusing and cute, but quickly turned serious. The story was fast-paced and I couldn't wait to see where the action would lead. 5 stars.
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence (kidnapping, fighting, death, etc.)
While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend the series be read in order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.
Darnok and Daisy’s story is well-written with less grammatical errors than previous stories in the series, and picks up a little bit after the end of book 4. This provides more information about what transpired between the time Queen Cassandra escaped to the Naxis and the time additional Draconian people crossed over to join her.
I love that this story has a different twist to it where the females are the dominant ones and the males are the care takers but at the same time the males are still manly if you will. I've read the entire series several times already and still cant get enough. I loved how daisy character saw hers turned from someone weak to herself to stronger and willing to fight for darnok and want a future with him. Poor darnok I loved how he grew and started to see him self as a worthy Male for daisy and not just a huge monster that scares females. Need more would love to read roans and kane's books and see if and when the recover the rest of his family.
Alien Protector’s Rescued Bride by Miranda Martin continues the Draconian Warriors saga in book 5. This time human female abductee Daisy is saved from the aquatic aliens along with another woman who turns out to be the twin of another human saved in the last book. Darnok is a huge scarred warrior who yearns for Daisy, making her beautiful clothing, a fur cloak as she’s always cold, and stuffies resembling a cross between a bear and a rabbit. She finally convinces him that he’s her one and only, and then the spice emerges. Lots of great action, spice, and romance!.

This series is phenomenal. I loved the way this started with Daisy being kidnapped by Aquatic aliens. Then comes a larger than life scarred alien warrior to her rescue. The story continues with mixed messages and misunderstandings between Daisy and our hero Darnok. He tries his best to engage with Daisy but he keeps getting it wrong but she perseveres and eventually he realises that she loves him "warts and all". This book is full of action, battles with other aliens, love and romance. Another great read in this series. Revidian is apparently a word created by author to indicate cunnilinguis there is also reverse revidian. This should have been explained by the author in beginning. Of book 1. But was not till book 3 so I was confused. I do like that the author made up words for alien species to describe things both recognizable and not. great series. Read all 11 books too bad 11th book ended abruptly and did not bring all happy families & couples together quite well. It ended so abruptly I kept trying to find a missing page or two. Or will there a 12th book?
Again and again this author does not disappoint. Her plot is sure to find equal love in how she takes care in giving us an amazing storyline, with so many more adventures. I've chuckled and went through every emotions with the characters to count. It was quite a ride! The camaraderie with the family, the encouragement to protect and love at will for the warriors was stealer.Onward with the next book👏💥⚡
This is the story of Daisy and Darnok. Daisy was kidnapped from Earth like so many others. Darnok is one of the warriors who helped rescue her. When Daisy looks at him, she doesn't see his battle scars, she sees the one who saved and protected her. When Darnok looks at her, he wishes she could be his, but knows that he is too scary looking for the likes of a Queen. The way they end up together makes a beautiful story! ❤
So, I haven't read the first book in this series, so idk the Draconian histories, but THIS was certainly different LOL. The males here called the women with queen (name) idk why it made me cringe and for some reason I got the fairy land with all purple and pink vibes LOL. I didn't like the way the conversation goes at the beginning, it felt like conversing with a robot. And I lost it when imagining a pregnant male bodybuilder, it was mentioned that the egg was only a thumbnail size, but still, I couldn't help it LMAO
The blurb offers a little preview of the story, but diving into the book really lets you connect with the characters and their adventures! I have to say, I'm so glad they crossed paths. While the main male character might have come to the rescue of the main female character, it turns out she was the one who truly saved him by helping him recognize his own worth.

I’m enjoying this series. However, I really wish the author would do a better job editing. There are literally dozens of grammar mistakes, especially the fact she doesn’t use articles, which disrupts the flow of the reading.
Daisy has been captured by aquatic aliens for an unknown quantity of time since they put her in and out of stasis. Drakonians rescue Daisy and Meiko and a while new existence is available.
The story is interesting and action packed. Lots of alien bad guys & situations. Some really adorable courting scenes & some truly steamy sex. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.
Darnok is a big scarred warrior who rescues Daisy. Daisy was abducted by slime fish people. This is a great story about what love and devotion can produce in a couple. Enjoy
Such a warm hearted story. The way daisy and darnok interacted after he rescued her from vicious abductors. Even though he was scarred and unsure of himself. He found solace in daisy. There is action and mayhem.
There was a lot of action in this book. New queens were discovered and a new home to settle into. The compassion and kindness the human women have for the Draconian warriors is amazing. Excellent reading.
