There are so, so many ways in which this is an extensive collection of knowledge - however I was frustrated by how much it focused on the practical direction (do this, then this, then that) and very light on the exploration of why, and honestly quite light on historical ties. There was some of that information present, but it was buried in lengthy passages of very specific, step by step instructions which took me far out of the spiritual exploration aspect, and made me feel like I was reading a strict instruction manual. I was also frustrated that it is dominated by a very specific channel of tune knowledge, when I personally felt the book presented itself as a total, global overview. I don’t necessarily regret reading it, but I won’t be reading it again and won’t recommend it as anything other than spot reference material.
