An art book/game guide rolled into one. The guide portions of this book feature very few maps and the ones that are there don't show item/enemy placements. The "guide" portions of this book are almost exclusively in a text format that will likely make most players close the book look for a video online to help them.

The art portions of the book get a better deal, with some good spreads and interesting creator commentaries behind the team's creative choices and puzzle designs. Unfortunately the art is featured on the same pages as the text-heavy "guides", taking up precious real estate on the page and making me wish I had a digital PDF of this book I could zoom in on the pieces I really wanted to see.

Do not spend full price on this book. There is some enjoyment to be had here, but this REALLY should have been 2 separate books. It tries to do too much and will leave both art enthusiasts and gamers feeling unsatisfied.

As far as strategy guides this book was wanting. It barely gave a good idea on how to complete some tasks and not much on strategy of how to defeat certain foes. It was focused more on the art of the game and interviews with the developers. I found myself frequently turning to youtub videos for help.
