Rachel and the Smith Brothers are on the run, trying to escape the dangers they left in the city. But when they stop off for supplies, they suddenly find themselves in a whole new kind of trouble. Rachel realises the true nature of the men she is travelling with, but where exactly does she fit in? It's funny, because it's been a while since I read the beginning of this series, but it all came back to me clearly and I had no trouble at all diving back into this world. I may add that this can also be read as a standalone, enough informations are provided by the author to follow everything.

It's a short story, to the point, efficient and I was glad to get back to the Reachers, I even wondered why I'd waited that long to do so (maybe because I have 300+ books on my tablet to read ?).

All in all : I need more !

Read it at light speed, loved it, need more.
The Reacher series fills a gap that needs filling with paranormal, crime, conspiracy and more badasses. Lot of character revelations in this one that really gets you more heavily invested in already very real people.

Another short, but entertaining, story from the Reacher Series.
This one follows on from The Running Game, which I enjoyed immensely.
