Really? Really?
I rarely write negative reviews because I think it takes so much effort to complete a book that I hate to disparage a writer. However I have to say this is so unfaithful to ODC that I must write this one. I know this is a "steamy" P&P, but seriously?? There is no way on earth either if them would have remotely behaved the way they did. It started out ok (if a bit immature), but it just devolved from their first encounter on. I'm ok with some adult romance between them but this bordered on ridiculous. Ridiculous.

A somewhat dull retelling of Pride and Prejudice. The story is a little to long and not very clever with a few predictable sex scenes added. It would be a better choice for the reader to read the original story and skip this book all together. 👎👎☹️

Unrecognizable Darcy and Elizabeth
Attraction of the physical kind and then lust seem to be the thrust in this variation. Mr. Darcy’s obsession for the alluring Elizabeth Bennet drives him to commit sexual and compromising acts so as to prove his “love” and intention to marry the hesitant and elusive lady. To convince the lady into marriage, Mr. Darcy does almost everything save get her with child. Eventually, she caves in; but what do you expect when the gentleman has his hands all over her in almost every encounter they have alone? All in the name of fun and sensuality, but neither Austen’s Fitzwilliam Darcy nor Elizabeth Bennet of Canon would ever approve the behaviors of their counterparts in this variation.
