June 15, 2019Not a fan of books where H is supposed to have really been into the h and the opening chapter is when he is having really graphic D/S sex with another woman....really can’t feel the love vibe when books start like that!

M. Piper blew this one up!!! It's a little dark, very intense, dirty, kinky and sexy as hell!! Not your typical second chance romance.
Trigger is a very dominate male. He's sexy, tattooed and rough around the edges. He had a very rough childhood and Sienna is the only woman to ever break thru his walls. They spend ten years apart, but their connection is as strong as ever and neither has been able to fill the void that was left behind by the other.
Warning: this book does have BDSM elements, cheating (which I'm normally against, but it was worth it with this story), and other things that may be triggers for some. It's definitely worth reading.

What a perfect dark and dirty read. I won't lie, I always swoon for the broken tough alpha who has no emotion and Trigger did not disappoint. He really is as broken as they get and finds his light with Sienna. The tension and build up between these two after 10 years apart just creates for a quick read that is incredibly steamy. The emotions that both characters face through their journey are tough and raw but create for a great read.
Highly recommend if you like dirty with a little dark thrown in for kicks.

This author perfected the intense, sexually charged world of Trigger and Sienna. I like both of who the characters were and their will to be together. It was a very fast paced story that happened in the span of a few weeks, but the author really made each scene memorable. With elements of BDSM, a sweet second chance romance, fans are going to go crazy for Trigger. 4 stars for me because BDSM style books aren’t really my thing but I love all this authors writing so of course I really liked it. Don’t let the erotic factor of the story push you off the book. It was soooo much more than that. #2OCCJD

Trigger is a owner of a tattoo shop. He’s had a rough upbringing but meets a girl name Sienna who helps him heal. But he lets her go and she moves away. Now he’s lost without her and can’t move on. But suddenly she walks into his shop and his life is turned up side down again. Can he get back what he lost or is it to late. I absolutely love this book. It has emotion and reality aspects. You will fall in love with both of the characters

Hmmm, I thought about this review for a while. This was NOTHING like I recall M. Piper ever writing like, and I think I have read most, if not all, of her books. And, I F-LOVED it! It was a little darker, a little dirtier. There was some cheating. It was a second-chance romance... but not your typical, sweet second chance romance. They meet 10 years ago in a bar and have an amazing night and go on to have an intense relationship that ends abruptly because of a lack of communication. I like the way this was written because it was written in the present with flashes back to their initial relationship and how that played out. When they met again, Sienna was engaged to be married and walked into Trigger's tattoo shop after moving to town... not knowing it was his shop. Neither one of them had gotten over the draw and intensity of the other, although they had both tried hard to move on. They start up again with the same intensity, but this time, communicating a little better than before. Trigger? Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm, he was delish! He might be my favorite character that she has ever written before. I don't like the cheating aspect, but I definitely don't discount a book because it has it in it, and you should not toss this one aside either because of it or you will miss something really special. If you have not read M. Piper yet, this would be a fantastic start, although like I have said before, this is different than what she has written previously. I hope there are more books to come in this series and more with the edge that she writes this one with. It was fantastic!

Sienna meets Trig at a club. She’s there to try and learn/get what she’s been missing, and he’s there to have another plaything for a night. Trig can’t seem to get enough of Sienna and she definitely can’t get enough of him. Their relationship develops and before Trig knows it they’re dating and in love with one another. Sienna graduates from college and it’s time to move for a job and when she brings this up to Trig he has a meltdown and safeworded right outta their relationship.
Fast forward 10 years and they run into each other again, clear across the country from their previous life. Sienna’s engaged (Jared’s a huge ass btw) and Trig has been on the self destructing path of random chicks for weekends only. As you can guess neither has gotten over the other, but their reunion isn’t without problems.

This a definite must read from an author that makes me come running every time she releases another book! Trigger is a bit different than previous books, a lot more smoking hot kink, but at the root of it she delivered a story packed full of the once in a lifetime love that I have come to expect.
Trigger is a tortured soul that doubts his self worth at every turn and when he does finally meet the one woman that makes him change his perspective, he runs scared.
It’s been 10 years since the love of Sienna’s life walked away. She has buried her true self and found a way to live without him.
For the first time in all those years they are face to face; now they must remind each other why they were perfect for each other once upon a time.
This book is intense, emotional, burn your kindle hot and a story that was easy to get lost in. I can not recommend this book enough and the fact that it is a standalone makes it perfect to jump right into! Seriously do yourself a favor and get started; only if you love alpha males, strong women, intense emotion and a hefty side of not vanilla...

I was not expecting what I just read. This is my first book by this author and I’m glad I went into this blind. It’s definitely fast paced but in a good way. The lead character is extremely alpha and dark so he sets the pace right from the get go. Throughout the story you get flashbacks of his past with his ex which builds up the love story and suspense of what happened and where we hope things will go. There’s also some surprise elements that kept it interesting and engaging as well. Loved his leading lady Sienna but at times wished she put her foot down to him and make him beg but that’s just me lol. Overall I loved this story and these characters and definitely has me wanting to read the side characters stories too!

Until the end of time. That’s what Sienna and Trigger had promised each other at one time. The book starts with Sienna in a club one night ten years ago. It’s there that she meets Trigger who quickly becomes her Dom and teaches her all the things that she is willingly wanting to learn. Flash forward to the present and we learn where Trigger and Sienna are now.
This book is super twisty and not anything like I’ve read from M. Piper before. It was for sure hot without crossing any lines. While it is definitely a BDSM kind of book, it really ends as a second chance romance. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone who loves BDSM, second chances, or just M. Piper like I do! 4 stars!

Ooh wow this is a dark and steamy lil number! It’s a quick read that keeps you turned on from page one all the way to “The End”.
Love is a powerful thing that can turn your life upside down when you deny yourself the one person you know you were meant to be with. Sienna and Trigger can’t be together because his childhood causes him to deprive himself of the love he deserves. Sienna’s one goal is to make him realize that he’s worthy of it but what happens when she fails, 10 years of a bare existence depriving themselves of the one thing that could make them both whole. Will they realize they belong together forever before it’s too late?
I’m still reeling from this wild ride.

What a great story to binge read! When I read Trigger, I didn’t know what it was about, I just knew it was written by M. Piper. ( I stopped reading blurbs a long time ago) M. Piper is one of those authors who puts her soul into each book! While reading, I could sense that this author cares about her characters and the story. It wasn’t just a book, it was bringing life to fiction! Trigger took me on a ride and I literally had to see what happens from beginning to end... Piper is one of those authors you just drop things for to read!

Read this book right now! Trigger by M. Piper is soooo good! Trigger is a sexy, dominant who never got over a girl from his past. Sienna is trying to move on with her life after Trigger. When, they find each other again, their chemistry and lust for each other explodes all over the place! I loved the fast-paced storyline. I read this in one sitting because I needed to know how it ended. The characters were great. M. Piper developed them very quickly to give the reader a full background and story. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone!

This was my first book buy M. Piper. I fell in love with these characters the emotional rollercoaster that is the story was just High highs and low lows. It ripped your heart out reading the pain that both of these characters were in and what they went through to try to overcome their feelings for each other. When they found out they were in the same city the shock was just like an eartquake. I was so happy at the end of the book. It was a long Twisted Journey but somehow they came out of it on the other side I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work.

This was such a great story of how a broken soul finds his peace in the form of a woman. This is one story that will stick with me. The writing blew me away and kept me hooked. I finshed this book in one sitting because I needed to know if this incredible couple ended up together. The pace of the book was perfect. There was just the right amout of emotion and humor to make this the perfect alpha book. The characters were so complex but easy to relate to. I can't wait to read more in this series. I am addicted to these tattooed bad boys and my hands are itching for more.

After 10 years, Trigger still can’t get Sienna out of his system. When they meet again, he “kidnaps” Sienna to get his fill of her. His plan backfires and he wants Sienna even more now. The story is hot with BDSM elements. A hot dominant alpha, a sexy woman and a good story, can’t ask for more.

Trigger had not seen Sienna for 10 years until she walks into his tattoo shop. This is a well written story which is gritty, heartbreaking, dark, intense, twisted, kinky, emotional, and a second chance at love. I was completely captivated throughout, and cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.
