Ms. Thornton has another hit on her hands. I enjoyed this book tremendously. Endearing characters and conversations that are smooth and easily believable make this book a joy to read. Throw in the murder of a copycat tea shop owner and you have a cozy worth spending time with. Plenty of twists and turns to keep the story interesting. But the bomb that gets dropped when Wynona finds out who cursed her at birth and took away her magic makes for a jaw dropping ending to the book. I highly recommend this book to all lovers of who dunnits that prefer their reading without blood and guts, gratuitous sex and unnecessary swearing. The only problem I found with this book is that it ended and the next one isn't out yet.

Everything is going well for Wynona, she's even finding the time to learn to control her magic with Prim, Violet and of course Rascal. Wynona's tea shop has become so popular, someone decided to capitalize on it. The new shop is a carbon copy of hers. Wynona was just going to ignore it trusting that no one could copy her talent of selecting the right teas for her customers.
Owned by Alavara Theramin an elf who was once a customer of hers, the shop is assumed by the press and apparently some of her customers to be a second location in which she is a partner. As more people confuse the two, it becomes apparent that Wynona has to do something. Alavara's shop was ruining Wynona's reputation.
Wynona and Prim, visit Alavara at her shop and the elf becomes belligerent. Wynona has no doubt she'll have to take legal action to get the shop closed down.
Then Alavara is murdered and things get out of control. The press converges on Wynona wanting answers to questions that don't relate to her at all. She does however discover a new ability, one where she can see the ghost reporters even when they aren't corporeal.
Forced to stay somewhere other than her home, she finds herself staying with Prim. There seems to be a dead end where clues are concerned so against her better judgement Wynona once again offers her assistance with the case.
There are many twists and turns in this one, I truly had no idea who could possibly have committed this murder. We also get some more interesting facts about Wynona and her powers. Although there are still so many secrets running around.
I am very much enjoying this series and I am reading the next one now.

WARNING! This ends with a bombshell- it’s not quite a cliffhanger, but it’ll make you want to read the next book pretty quickly! I’d rate it a 4/5 on the trauma scale.
When Wynona’s new copycat competitor is murdered, she realizes she needs to help Rascal and his coworkers figure out who did it, so that her own life can get back to normal.
In the meantime, she is trying to learn how to use her magic, while still trying to figure out who cursed her.
There are some huge revelations in this book, some shocking, others less so, and some interesting new twists!
The story is layered, with the main mystery being fairly obvious, while the ongoing background story arc gets some important new information. It all makes for an exciting and eventful story.
An enchanting addition to this series, that I highly recommend for paranormal cosy mystery lovers.

Things are heating up and her power emerges. Will this put her in her family’s crosshairs? The next book will answer this question, but you have to read this one—it’s got everything you want—full of love, family, friends, murder, and magic.

Love, love, love the continuing story of Wynona Le Doux and her friends Violet, Primrose, and Rascal. A copycat tea shop has opened in Hex Haven and Wynona’s business is starting to suffer. But when the owner is murdered, she becomes the prime suspect! Couple that with learning how to harness her burgeoning powers and keeping her business afloat—she’s got her hands full.
Fast-paced (good, because I couldn’t put it down) and twisting, this latest mystery by Thornton kept me guessing until the end.

Excellent!
This fourth book in the Le Doux Mysteries series, was yet another enjoyable and entertaining read.
With her powers emerged, and disturbing revelations about her past and who cursed her as a baby, Wynona has a lot more to deal with, especially now that her family will be coming after her, too.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this awesome series.

Wow!
This series is so much fun to read, I love Wynona and Rascal. They are such a cute couple. The other characters in this series are awsome to! I highly recommend that you give this series a try!

Another exciting adventure!
This book was as exciting as the previous books. There were different types of paranormals and a murder to solve. Family secrets were revealed, but it ended without an explanation or details. On to the next book. Lol!
