An excellent text suggesting that modern literacy classrooms must embrace home literacy and help students unpack their identities in the classroom through the use of multiple modalities. A thought provoking text.

While the book contains useful information, I found the writing style too cyclical and redundant. It seemed they continually told me what they would discuss rather than discussing it.
