The book is frustrating. I had high hopes for R.L. Stine's book!!! Really a major turn off T_______T

The book was no fun at all. More like a child's play /sigh/ I was really really really hoping for a major goosebump story kinda thing. I liked the old version better. NO GLIMPSE OF HORROR AT ALL. IT WAS BORING; sorry not sorry.

Clearly, I want Louis and Abbie to be more romantic towards each other. The author made Louis looked like some psychopath or wtv /frustrated/ -- and and, why there's no peeping toms in their neighborhood???? I mean don't they care at all? Unlike in Malaysia, we are indeed "care" of our neighbors' needs ((really)) -- fine wtv

Turned out to be EMILY IS THE REAL DEAL HAHAHAHA WHAT A TOTAL MEHHHHHHH hmmmmm

Okay, but I did have questions.

* Abbie is new to town, but gets a date with a boy called Louis before she even starts at her new school.
* People seem to be generally nice, but keep warning her about being careful around Louis. His last girlfriend died falling off a waterfall, and not everyone believes it was suicide or an accident.
* Abbie's bike tyres get slashed, her work gets deleted off her floppy disc, and she's nearly electrocuted.
* At the end Abbie and Louis are up at the falls again. Louis fights with a girl called Caroline who ends up going over the edge. It turns out though that Caroline wasn't the culprit, it was a girl called Emily who killed Phoebe, and also wants to kill Abbie to get her out of the way of Emily being with Louis.
* Anyway, Caroline somehow survives the fall from the cliff and calls for an ambulance and the police. The police take Emily away, the ambulance takes Caroline. Abbie and Louis then kiss.
- How did Caroline survive that fall????
- How did the ambulance get there so fast? This was before mobile phones!
- Is Abbie going to stay with Louis? He was responsible for Caroline going off the edge 🤔

Honestly did not see the twist coming which was nice since it was fairly easy to follow and a typical who done it. Killing the cat however was just unnecessary lol
