About the author

Tiffany Andrea

Tiffany was born and raised in a small town in Muskoka, Ontario, spending much of her childhood outdoors. She moved to attend McMaster University for Psychology at age seventeen. After university, she met her husband, and rather than pursuing a career, opted to stay at home to raise their two daughters. Since 2013 she has homeschooled her girls, and as they became more independent in their learning, Tiffany was seeking out ways to make use of her time. She opted to study to become a freelance proofreader since she was a voracious reader. Once her proofreading business was established, she dove into editing courses, and rather than focus exclusively on editing, she took creative writing classes to be able to better understand the writing process.
As it turned out, she loved that process.
Her first novel, We're All a Little Broken was written largely based on her own life and struggles with mental illness, which she wanted to share to help others like her not feel alone.
While she didn't pursue a career in psychology, it's still very much an area of interest, and shedding light on mental health is something she is very passionate about.

I discovered this author several months back. I quickly became addicted to her style of writing and authentic voice. Humans are extremely complex and have a battery of emotions, many we learn as children to keep hidden. With each novella released, the author touches on deep-rooted issues while telling relatable stories that are conquered by love. Without giving anything away, I would like to commend the author on her honesty of what it can and often is like to be a new parent. I am a fan and highly recommend the entire series.

I received an ARC of this book and Andrea has come through with another emotional story with an attached rollercoaster. I laughed, I chuckled, I “awww’d” I shed tears. My heart broke and repaired, was sad and happy. I love Chelsea and Liam and their relationship. Well, actually I love the whole family and would love to have them as neighbors and friends. How can anyone not fall in love with Andrea’s characters!? If you want a feel-good story with a lot of emotion and angst, then this book, this series is for you. I greatly look forward to Isla’s story. Well done, Andrea!

So, I decided to have a lazy morning with my newest paperback - I wasn’t expecting to feel so moved. The author calls it book 2.5 of her series, but it’s really the fifth in a collection of warm, soul-filling stories that make you want to hug your family tighter, lighten your grip on perfection, and let loose your compassion more freely. For a taste of the lovely warmth this book inspires, “Tonight, we talked about our futures as a family, and that means a lot more to me than candles and flowers”. It’s not a hot, sweaty romance (which can be fun, no doubt), but rather, a sweet story of tender love and joy (times three!).

This is such a great story. I loved every moment reading it and devoured it in a day.

I felt so much solidarity with Chelsea, and understood her struggles poignantly, having experienced some of them first-hand.

Starting a family can be scary, and then when things don't unfold exactly as you expect them to, it can really throw you for a loop.

Having recently had a baby myself, much of her post-partum experience is very fresh on my mind. The Seuss-like poem about pumping made me laugh out loud, because you really do feel like a cow some days, constantly hooked up to a pump!

Tiffany has done it again! This series is beautiful and everyone should read it!

Well done, Tiffany!!

GET THE TISSUES!!! When I was told this story would hit me right in the feels, I should’ve listened. I loved getting to see these characters come alive once again and to catch up with my favourites and see where life has taken this family. Every time I read another book in this series I think it can’t possibly get any better - but then it does!! Highly recommend this series!!!

Hope and healing for the brokenhearted

What a journey! I ran through the whole gamut of emotions throughout this story. Joy, excitement, fear, depression, and finally a hope and realization that all our trials create the person we are today. As a woman who's experienced a miscarriage, all the raw emotions in the book are conveyed with honesty and sensitivity. To see Chelsea's journey from the first book of the series to this book is fulfilling and hopeful. I know every reader will feel resonance with these characters.
Do yourself a favor and pick up all the books in the series!
Not only did I receive an ARC for review, I bought a paperback version because all the proceeds go to a worthy cause and I'm sure there's someone who needs this story to heal their heart.

I had the privilege of reading the ARC version of Chelsea and Liam’s beautiful story and, like Tiffany Andrea’s previous books in this fabulous series, it packs an emotional wallop. Young couple Chelsea and Liam are now married and starting a family. On top of having the typical first time mom’s fears of the unknown, roller-coaster hormones and past traumas trigger Chelsea’s anxiety to new levels despite hubby Liam’s tender reassurances.

I don’t want to give much else away as this is an important and heart-wrenching story, one that the reader should really experience firsthand. It has pain, it has joy, and most of all, it has hope, family and love. As a mother who has once been through a somewhat similar experience as Chelsea and Liam in having seen a child in the NICU, I deeply felt this book. Author Tiffany Andrea has lived it as well, and she obviously poured her heart and soul into every detail of this project. Authenticity rings true throughout.

I highly recommend this read and commend the author for putting her money where her words are in donating proceeds to support the incredible work of SickKids Hospital. It is a reminder for us all to be grateful and to count our blessings.

Loved this story so much!

Beautifully written and heartwarming.

I really enjoyed watching Chelsea’s family grow.

I could relate to certain things she went through. The emotional turmoil is so familiar. Reading this book triggered sad memories but I’m thankful because it also reminded me to count my blessings.

As I was reading, I kept pausing to kiss my 2-year-old sleeping on my shoulder.

This book is filled to the brim with love.

I highly recommend the whole series. By now I’m sure there won't be a book by Tiffany Andrea that could ever disappoint me. They’re all masterfully written, filled with genuine emotions, and they all raise highly important subjects.

Looking forward to reading the next one.

A gem of a novella you must read!

A beautifully written craft this author brings to her readers! My thoughts were with this book every time I had to put it down. It casts a loving couple finding their way through family, relationships, a loss of a baby, and the joys of having triplets! As a mom of multiples, I felt the same moments of motherhood captured in the descriptive writing of how I felt when my babies were born. The emotional ups and downs that will keep you intrigued! I can’t wait to read the next one in this series! Highly recommend!

Chelsea's story left me speechless. I loved her journey, as much as I wanted to smack her sometimes. I came to love her as a character and respect her for her choices, even if they were misguided. So with this book, I was already invested, and I don't think I've ever cried so hard over a book in my life. This is a true roller coaster and what started out as sobbing hysterics turned into tears of joy. Now knowing there's only one book left in the series makes me sad because I'm not ready for it to be over. I'm so glad I came across this author.

Very rarely do books bring me to tears, but this one had me crying over and over. Being a fellow c-section mom and a parent whose child requires the amazing care of the doctors and nurses at Sick Kids I really sympathized with Chelsea. A quick, emotional read. I couldn’t recommend it enough.
