Not a Sometimes Love
It began with a vague feeling -- a feeling of "coming down with something." Twenty-four agonizing hours later, the lives of two people had changed forever.
On a warm Saturday morning, Keith Korstjens rushed his wife, Mary, a normally healthy, active twenty-four-year-old, to the hospital. That same day, he was told that she had polio and would spend the rest of her life as a quadriplegic.
Forty-six years later, Korstjens has a story to tell and retell -- the story of his and Mary's life together since that day, working to build a marriage in a world of respirators, wheelchairs, braces and bedpans. Not a Sometimes Love is an enormously refreshing love story -- from start to finish, it rings true in its testimony to faith, hope, and love. It's a book you will read with tears in your eyes and a smile on your face.
Not a Sometimes Love is a timeless guide on learning how to love the way God loves.

This was written by a man who demonstrated his devotion and his love for a wife who was a quadriplegic. After three years of marriage, she contracts polio. This book details their growth together as a couple and as individuals for over fifty years of marriage. There is much to be gleaned from their wisdom and their marriage.
