No, really, an actual murder happened. Cyn and Winnie were perfectly content to read the news headlines like ordinary people... and dogs. Until the suspects started pouring into her office, demanding she prove it wasn't them. Which would be perfect, if the chief of police hadn't retired, Daniel Kirby wasn't a suspect and the person demanding she help is none other than Amber Carter.
While proving none of them are guilty isn't the easiest job she's ever gotten, it's made harder by the fact she wants them to be... Both of them.

My first series: The Ampersand Series, is a dark, moody thriller. Coming next is the Cálida Solano series which will be an extension of Bridgettes world.
The ever growing series is Cynthia Sharp. These books are meant to be fun romps that leave you laughing, blushing and waiting for your next visit to Sweet Pea, OH.

I might actually give this a 3.5, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. I’m VERY disappointed Larry is alive, or didn’t move away. I’m sick of his personality.
But I still love Cyn and her dog, Winny. I also really like Ian Cruz, the sexy soldier who is crazy about Cyn and was the specialist who helped her train Winny as a K9 bomb expert. He’s also the one who is best with Cyn, and is usually there with her investigating murder. Cyn’s best friend Mo is kind of an idiot, and don’t even get me started on her sex crazed parents. If Cyn didn’t have Winny I think she’d go crazy.
Anyway, it’s a decent cozy murder mystery series. I already have the next book, but I’m not sure if I’ll continue on after that. Although maybe, if Larry dies or leaves or whatever.
This is my favorite so far of the Sharp Investigation Series. Cyn is finding her groove, standing her ground (sort of) with the men in her life and Winnie is as good as she can be. I’m looking forward to the next installment.
Also, yes, Cyn can be bribed with cookies, orgasms and coffee.
Cyn and Winnie are working on their interpersonal skills and adding layers of personality to previously flat characters. Eating up the Evidence should hopefully give your funny bone more of a tickle.
The title of this book is spot on as a descriptive of the contents. It’s so funny there were times I re-read parts that truly deserved it. Winnie is a real charmer and Cyn…well she’s one of a kind in a fabulous cast of characters. I never picked the killer. That was a shocker.
Digging Through Trough Dirty Landry is the third mystery featuring private investigator Cynthia "Cyn" Sharp and and her German Shepherd, Winnie, also her sometimes business partner Ian Cruz. This one involves her proving a suspect is innocent of murder. A fun new chapter to this already great series
