"Party boy, player, goofball...it's not who I am."
"Who are you then, Bryan Hughes?"
"I'm just a guy, falling for a girl."
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times, and I’ll always stand by it, L.A Cotton is the GOAT of sports romances. And I take every opportunity I can to get my Raiders fix, because the entire Rixon world will forever be royalty in Sports romances, and I strongly believe nobody can write romance quite the way L.A Cotton can. There's always something so damn beautiful about the way she tells the character's stories, and every time it completely devours me and brings out every emotion I could possibly feel.
Bryan, my lord he was so much more than I could ever hope for. Another thing I always say is that it's always the goofball of the group that's going to render you an emotional wreck, because they're always the ones who feel the most and have the biggest hearts. Bry was no exception. He was at times infuriatingly in denial, he was a classic hotshot Rixon Raiders king, and it took him a minute to finally get his head together and make things right. And when he does, my word be prepared to be knocked on your ass! Such a beautiful boy! He was perfection 🤌🏻
"Kiss me." And I did, wondering if she felt the moment my heart became hers.
And oh my goodness, Carrie-Anne, let me tell you if you've ever in your life felt a bit like an outsider, felt like you're not pretty or worthy, then she's going to tug at your heart strings, not ashamed to admit that she made me hella emotional because you can really relate to her and feel every doubt she has. But she's a tough cookie, she's stubborn and untrusting but her and Bryan's journey is so fricken beautiful!
"But this is all just a game..."
"No, kitty cat, it isn't. It's really, and I think that terrifies you. You were the curveball I didn't see coming."
So if you're having Rixon Raiders and Rixon High withdrawal symptoms, then go escape in Bryan and Caz's stunning novella, perfect addition to the rixon world 💙
