Good book

I did like this book , I did not read them in order , this is the first one of the series I read .. I will be reading the rest .. I liked this book but it felt unfinished .. Like .. They broke up because she found him messing around with 2 other women at once when he was suppose to love and be with her , but WHY, HOW , WHERE ?? What is the explanation.. Because without one I would never trust him again .you also cannot just declare yourself someone's Daddy and DOM , even if you did have it with her once , even if you still love her and even if she still loves you

I’ve pretty much loved every other book in this series. And this book did give me what I wanted out of the one before it, the rest of the story about the theft of the native artifacts. But I just wasn’t in love with the relationship between Wyatt and Bella. There’s lots of sparks and chemistry between them, however I thought they played out in a way that doesn’t reflect well on either one of them. Feisty, opinionated, been cheated on and still carrying the scars; it was very easy for me to identify with Bella. So, it hurt that she didn’t command more respect from Wyatt. On the other hand, Wyatt kind of came across as a high-handed jerk and pushed a lot of my hot buttons. Telling a woman who is rightfully ticked off at you that you’re going to be her dom and daddy and she has no say in the matter, isn’t a good way to regain her trust or respect to my mind. I love the place they’re able to reach at the end of the book, it just felt like a really rocky journey to get there. And I am still looking forward to seeing what else the author has in store for the Coleman family.

A brat and her cowboy.
Bella has a problem and she turns to the one person that she tells herself she does not trust. Wyatt Coleman hurt her badly and she acts as if she hates him but she is just fooling herself. What she does not know is that his feeling run the same way and he hates how and why it hurt her. Bella received a threat not just to herself but also to Wyatt and this romantic mystery shows how they deal with it all. The reason behind the threat and the true villain was unexpected. I loved how it ended and the journey Wyatt and Bella took. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

I've been enjoying this series a lot but I have to say that this entry really did not work for me. While the story was good I did not like Bella and I hated Wyatt. It was because of my own personally feelings and pet peeves and not a direct reflection on the author's work. I wish I could have enjoyed this more but nope! This is my candid, freely posted review.

Although this is the last book in a series, “Bella’s Cowboy Daddy” is written in such a way that you can understand everything without having read the prior books. I’m glad I read the story because it solves an ongoing storyline about missing artifacts. The problem is that I didn’t like either of the main characters, and was actually disgusted by the male lead.

Bella and Wyatt were in a committed relationship when she caught him cheating on her with two other women simultaneously. For years now since the explosive and humiliating end of their relationship, he’s a complete man-whore, and she knows it. Yet, when she receives a written threat against the two of them, she seeks him out in a bar and finds a woman pleasuring him beneath a table. Still, she soon decides to have sex with him and no mention at all is made of a condom. WTH. His apology for his past unfaithfulness is insincere at best. Throughout the book, multiple mentions are made of his ‘wandering eye’ and his male private parts leading him around. Wyatt is immature and disrespectful. He decrees himself to be Bella’s Dom and Daddy and she just goes along with it all. I also thought it was ironic that Wyatt's family ranch rescues women from abusive relationships, and yet his behavior has been emotionally abusive towards Bella. .

Bella is supposed to be an intelligent woman. Why would she give any type of power over to a man who’s shown he doesn’t respect her, and who’s expressed no sincere contrition? I wish I could have gotten the resolution to the mystery without reading about Bella and Wyatt.

Bella Beaumont and Wyatt Coleman’s story unfolds and truths are discovered in Bella’s Cowboy Daddy Book 4 of the Rescue Ranch Series. This story was a pretty simple straight forward, fairly fast read, which kept me turning pages from the minute I started reading until the last page. I found it to have a fair amount of action and suspense which kept me enthralled. The author set Bella up to be a very strong-willed independent woman who in Bella’s mind didn’t need help from anyone in order for her to be safe or successful. After all Bella is the Publisher and editor of the local newspaper. Bella now leads us right into Wyatt who is her ex-boyfriend and Bella just received a letter threatening both their lives Someone believes they either have or have knowledge about a missing necklace from stolen artifacts from the local museum from years ago...so she seeks out Wyatt to give a copy of this letter to him even though fourteen years ago Wyatt had betrayed her and she has had nothing to do with him she still thinks he should have knowledge of this threat to their lives. Wyatt knows he messed up years ago and the result was he lost the only “Submissive” and “Little” he would ever love! Can he convince her he has changed and he will never betray her again and that he has always loved her. Wyatt has been blamed all these years for the theft of the stolen artifacts but Bella is bound and determined to clear his name. The story takes us through all kinds of mystery, lies, anger, trouble, accusations, all kinds of emotions between the characters. No loose ends left unanswered, a HEA obtained. I would recommend if possible to read the series, I think it will all make sense a lot faster. A very enjoyable series. I enjoyed this artists writing style. I do recommend. Another enjoyable story in the Rescue Ranch series by Melinda Barron. It helps to have read the other stories in the series because you understand some of the characters a little better, but this story stands on its own and can be enjoyed even if you didn’t read the other stories. Wyatt and Bella had been lovers in high school – they were each other’s “first” – but his wandering eye broke up the relationship, although they continued to care for each other. Bella is the editor of a local newspaper owned by her family which was previously run by her late father. Wyatt is a rancher on a successful ranch owned with his brothers. A letter threatening their life brings them back together as they work through the problems that led to the threat. Bella’s late father had hidden some artifacts stolen from the local museum by young men he knew, and Wyatt’s brother had found the artifacts and returned them to the Indian tribe who had lent them to the museum. However a necklace stolen at the same time was still missing – and caused the threat on Bella and Wyatt’s life. A lot of the story is about the efforts to solve the mystery, while Bella and Wyatt revive their love affair after a 9 year hiatus. There is some very mild spanking in the story, and some suggestions of a Daddy-Little relationship, but it is very mild. The story is fast moving, and all the characters are interesting and intelligent. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

14. Bella’s Cowboy Daddy is the fourth installment in Melinda Barron’s Rescue Ranch series. In it Ms. Barron continues her saga of the Coleman brothers’ romance. In this one, readers get to focus on Bella Beaumont and Wyatt Coleman. This could be considered a second-chance romance. They were high school sweethearts until Wyatt strayed hurting Bella in the process. Now years later, Destiny brings them together when Bella receives a death threat. She reaches out to Wyatt. Will Wyatt be able to keep her safe? Will they find out who is behind the death threat? Will they ever be reunited as a loving couple? You must read this book to find out.

Ms. Barron does a remarkable job penning this romantic suspense. I enjoyed her dual-prong plot. The overarching plot is the “Who-done-it” mystery. To help move the plot along, Ms. Barron weaves a second-chance romance subplot between Bella and Wyatt. I semi-enjoyed the two strong lead characters. I did not like how they clung to their adolescent behavior instead of being mature adults. This is demonstrated in the banter between these two. The dynamics within the Beaumont family was intriguing. Of all the books in this series, I liked this one the least.

Book 4 in the Rescue Ranch series delivers on the promise of Book 3. While most books in a series can be read on a stand-alone basis, and this one could be, it is strongly recommended that you read Leslie’s Cowboy Daddy first for context. Bella’s story follows up on the museum theft mystery and brings it to a stunning conclusion. Bella is the editor of the local paper and she is also the former “little” of one of the principal suspects in the theft. Wyatt was her “Daddy”, but he blew it big time by thinking too much with his little head! Can they work together to solve the mystery, or is their baggage too heavy? A good mystery with lots of angst, family issues (both good and bad) and a surprise ending that still leaves me a little perplexed by the actions of one character. As always with the Rescue Ranch men, there are lots of spankings, erotic sex, and loving after care. Will there be a book 5? 5 Stars.

Another wonderful addition to this series of stories
This was a wonderful read and as I have read the previous books, I had been very much looking forward to hearing more about the great artefacts that had been stolen all those years ago and now had suddenly turned up.
As Bella and Wyatts story continues the town watches as Bella writes in the local newspaper about the missing artefacts and about how her father who recently died had known about the students that had stolen them all those years ago.
As the family looks on with a certain amount of humour, they all are convinced these two will eventually sort out their differences as love has never been the problem, just Wyatt keeping himself true to Bella.
A great read you will thoroughly enjoy.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Good story with their history, a mystery of whodunnit’s, building of trusts, Daddy Dom/ Sub-Little kink and let’s not forget the curse of a small town, the gossip chain, lol, that was funny. This is my first read from this author and I possibly will check out more.

Bella was 18 when things got serious with a 16 year old Wyatt Coleman, they were each other’s first. When she was 26 she caught 24 year old Wyatt with not 1 but 2 other women which destroyed and ruined her love towards the man. She lost her friend & lover but also her Master when she wanted to submit and she also lost her Daddy when she wants to be in her Little Girl mind space. But 8 years later Bella needs to handle something over to Wyatt and the place he hunts for his flavors is the last place she wants to be. Will the mystery of whodunnit with the thief of 14 years prior, the mystery of the break-ins or the death threats be solved ???
Will Bella ever forgive the ho-dog for his pasts???

Our couple broke up a long time ago, but fate has forced them to work together today. Is this a second chance or just reopening old wounds?

This is book four of the series, but it is written as a standalone. No prior reading is required to enjoy this one.

This is a cowboy romance story with some suspense and D/S thrown in for good measure. The story is well written and easy to read with a great setting that has all the trimmings. The characters are also well developed and quite solid, real people with real pasts and problems. The story has the usual romance elements which tend towards the DD/LG area, but also rather a bit more with a good plot that includes some unexpected twists and turns, as well as some expected steam. All of which leads to a solid HEA. Overall, an excellent story and I definitely look forward to more.

Highly recommended.

Bella Beaumont, publisher and editor of the Bookman Gazette, finds a letter threatening her life and her ex-boyfriend's. Fourteen years ago, some Indian artifacts were stolen from the museum in Bookman Springs, TX, and while the artifacts have been located and returned to the tribe they belonged to, lots of people wonder who stole them. Wyatt Coleman has taken the blame all these years, but Bella knows it was not him. When Wyatt is determined to protect Bella, they end up working together and reunited.
This finale to the series ties up the mystery of who stole the artifacts, and it was a surprise. While the books can stand alone, but are much more enjoyable when read together in order. A good read, Wyatt and Bella's HEA is beautifully told.

Wyatt and Bella have quite the history and as the saying goes, love and hate are two sides of the same coin and sometimes go hand in hand. I love the tug of war that happens between this couple as Bella comes to a point of forgiveness for Wyatt and they are able to reconcile their differences and become a couple again. I love their dynamic as well. Some of the scenes are so hot. And while all of that is going on the fourteen year old town mystery that started in the previous book is finally being solved. The intrigue definitely makes this a page turner. I really loved this book and while I could have read it by itself, I am glad I have read the three books before. So, check out the other Rescue Ranch books by Melinda Barron as well.

I enjoyed the story as it tells of Bella and Wyatt having a second chance at love and Wyatt swearing he will not screw up like he did the first time. While they are finding their way back to each other, a theft that occurred 14 years ago is revisited when the location of the missing items is revealed at the death of her father. Everyone except Bella thought Wyatt was guilty but there is a surprise as to who is actually guilty. The story is well written and I actually hoped they could find their way back to each other. There is danger and threats are made against both Bella and Wyatt but there is a happing ending. This is a story worth reading.

I loved this next book in the Rescue Ranch series. Bella and Wyatt had a relationship when they were younger. But, "... he was a man who couldn't keep it in his pants..." Eight years later, Bella needed his help to find out who stole the artifacts. Wyatt and Bella had had a Daddy/little and a Dom/sub relationship. Wyatt used the emergency to push their relationship again. I will say that I did not like Wyatt or Bella that much. Where was the apology? Why would Bella take him back without an apology? But, it did move the story forward. There was a HEA for Wyatt and Bella.

This is book 4 in the series and it is easily enjoyed as a standalone read. Bella and Wyatt have history between them (which is never really addressed or cleared up) but work together to make their relationship now work. There was a lot to like. I like that this story didn't give the reader everything (sometimes life and relationships are like that) but it did give me enough to enjoy the pace and the interaction between the characters. I didn't feel that this is the best in the series - I just didn't get enough chemistry for that - but it was a very enjoyable read for when you have some downtime and don't want anything too heavy.

This is a story about a second chance with the one you loved and never got over. They still have that push and pull. Both have tried to ignore it for years when they are thrown back together again. It is funny watching them argue and deny feelings for each other. This is another good book to show how just because it is relationship defined. It is a complete animal unto itself and how different everyone can be.

Wyatt and Bella were together until he screwed up. Years later as a threat emerges, the two are brought back together to figure out what is going on. The storyline has a terrific mystery in where the necklace disappeared to. The reconnection of their romance takes second place. Loved the hunt for the clues and results. Author did a great job with the ups and downs, twists and suspense that unfolds. Loved the ending and can not wait to read more by this author.

When Bella Beaumont starts receiving threats to herself and Wyatt she know she must go see the one person she wanted to stay far away from Wyatt.
She trots into the bar and finds him giving him the letter to read ,what was she thinking getting him involved and again bringing him into her world. He caused her nothing but hurt but she still has feeling for him.
This is Wyatt's way back into Bella's good grace's and finally claiming her as his, but first they must find out who is threatening them.

Wyatt & Bella

Wyatt & Bella were childhood sweethearts who were broken apart by his cheating. The mystery from book 3 continues as Wyatt & Bella are both threatened over a necklace neither knows nothing about. Thrown together by this threat they now have to confront and forgive the past. Though I wish we were told more about what happened between them years ago I was pleased Bella was finally able to forgive and they could move on together. D/s, DD/lg, very very mild age play.

Bella was a great example of the many facets one person can have - strong, independent professional woman; sexual submissive; sometimes bratty little. Lots of action and suspense. Good pacing. The only thing I would’ve liked more explanation of is why Wyatt did what he did. But the end was very satisfying.
