The Light cure is nature's own. Where the sun does not enter, the doctor does ~ Italian Proverb. Disease is a want of harmony in the system, or in other words a want of colour and the object is to restore or supply that colour deficiency. Chromotherapy or Colour Healing is the treatment of diseased conditions of Mind and Body by the use of various colour rays. The principle is the vibrational increase of the physical and etheric cells through colour healing. In her book on Spectrobiology, Maria de Charpowichi has discussed her experiments of colour impact onAlgae, Yeast, Bacteria, etc. with the use of direct or diffused sun light. The seat of any disease is the etheric centre of the organ affected and this is treated and purified with the right colour. The whole basis of colour healing consists in causing certain molecular reactions in the organs through the medium of rays. The value of this science lies in the penetrative power of light. Psychology shows that our mental activity is not limited to one conscious plane. The kahunas of Hawaii described the three planes as the conscious, sub-conscious and Super-conscious. Our conscious life is in reality a reflection of our deeper interior mental and spiritual conditions. Man, like everything else in nature generates it's own Aura, atmosphere and magnetism. Prof. Godspeed from the University of Pennsylvania made the accidental discovery that rays of light emanate naturally through the human body. Tests have shown that this Aura or Etheric body is capable of being electrified. The vital solar force is absorbed by the etheric body and is reflected across the lower and higher auric planes as VIBGYOR. The highest vibration of all, the white light is not generated by man, but is projected or transmitted to the aura from the supreme cosmic force. This white light is projected by the seven auric centres or Chakras. The living cells and tiny organisms that compose are physical bodies are susceptible to changes in vibration on account of forces operating within and outside. They are influenced by radiations of our own mind, from the minds of others, from our atmosphere, from ether and the invisible planes around us. The cosmic rays and forces of colour which play upon our physical bodies affect the condition of the physical and etheric cells. The electrons in the atoms are particles of negative electricity and protons are considered electric in nature. Both are etheric and ether acts as a great connecting link between the physical senses and the higher cosmic forces. The etheric body plays a vital role in the life and health of man. If this body is weak it causes disease. Chromotherapy aims at replenishing the vital force into the etheric body with the right colour and quantity through natural light.
