This story is a fusion of romance tropes, notably fake romance, enemy to lover and pregnancy surprise. I like Laney, even though she is brittle at times. Her family's critical comparisons make her this way. It's difficult for her to believe that Gianni likes her the way she is, particularly when she discovers his secret. Their relationship is slow to develop, but the attraction intensifies, accompanied by emotional commitment.

This is another great book from this series with two of my favourite Romance Tropes - Fake Relationship and Baby Surprise!

This book was so romantic, not just with Laney’s Sisters Wedding but then the beautiful trip to Italy!

I love books with Italy in as it is such a stunning country to visit and I could really picture the scenes - I wish there had been more of Florence!

This is a really pleasant surprise. It's gentle and slow-building, but the characters are just adorable. I really enjoyed the entire story and although the heroine was overly suspicious and unpleasant to the hero at the dark moment of the book, it didn't last too long and she quickly redeemed herself.

This book tries to do too much in too little time and, as such, successfully does nothing. There's not really any conflict, it's all resolved a chapter or two after it's introduced. I would have rated it higher, but by the end Laney's character had become so grating. It also did this weird thing in that you never actually see anything. For instance, they're going to hike and then it skips to after they've hiked; she's going to meet his brother, it skips to after he's left.

*I hated my experience reading this because Glose app sucks. 0/10.
