Cases for Reflection and Analysis for Exceptional Introduction to Special Education (11th Edition) [Paperback] [Mar 08, 2008] Hallahan, Daniel P.; Kauffman, James M. and Pullen, Paige C.
I wish this book were more up to date and more closely aligned with good practices in special education.
Some of these case studies are very depressing. They depict children in homes that are abusive or neglectful. Most of the children are being served by special education teachers who are overwhelmed and at their wit's end. Very few of them are encouraging the parents to be actively engaged or are valuing the parents' input.
