Three stars because it is so dated. 40 years ago, it would’ve been four stars. The book is an overview of atomic and nuclear physics, which just enough math to keep it informative.

It was written in a time when nuclear physics was in its heyday. New particles are being discovered, new applications were being attempted. A lot has changed since then.
