A great read! I wish I read it BEFORE going caving at Rats Nest, but now I so badly want to back and see more. I had no idea about so many of the terms or details or science behind everything. Now I want to learn more. Would have loved more pictures and more stories of discovering / expansing areas of the cave system.

Interesting and informative book that isn't too wordy or long. Perfect complement to exploring the cave (highly recommended for anyone who has the opportunity) and a great introduction to many aspects of caves with a focus on Rat's Nest Cave and surrounding caves.
