Not quite as good as Starry's "Mounted Combat in Vietnam" (part of the same 'Vietnam Studies' series) but a useful look at large conventional US forces conducting counter-insurgency operations. North Vietnamese attempts to overrun US units seem completely futile - one wonders what previous experience led the NVA to continue attempting this despite the staggering losses they suffered.
