Not bad. Kinda cool old book. Originally printed in the 1940s so you kinda gotta keep that in mind. The stories of Mike Fink's legend are likely based on fact and folklore like a lot of the old pioneers. But cool stories none the less. Some of the stories are repeated several times as told by different sources. And in some parts the writers use old river lingo which can make the reading a little tough to follow. But considering the era it was written and the fact vs mythology element it makes for a fun read. Mike Fink must've lived at least a pretty interesting life at least to be so memorable.
