I am an Australian Cat who has had a lot of experiences in my 4 years. In my Autobiography with 25 colour pictures and over 5000 words you can admire the picture of me and my brother when we were kittens, and the other pictures of me and the people and animals in my life. Then you can meet my friends like Michael, the local mob and the kind farmer, hate my enemies like the Big Fat Ugly Dog, the Bad Man and the Satanic Cat and laugh at the strange ideas of the enigmatic Bad Boy. Michael says that if anyone buys my books the money will pay for some nice cat food. In this book I meet my famous father. You can share both my joy and triumphs and grieve with me at the tragic events of my young life.This book was written before I became a detective helping the police catch criminals. I hope young children will enjoy my autobiography.

Seeing that I already read a cat biography related book at the start of this year I was more than curious to read this one. I have to say that this book was average - it wasn't fantastic nor was it painfully bad. It's just that it lacked a spark or something like that, and there wasn't any moments in which I laughed out loud while reading.
I think it was very interesting to read the book from the cat's (Luna) point of view as it offered how she viewed the world around her. She seemed like a rather cute and adventurous cat and her four years on this earth has been filled with high points as well as low points. I think if anything it just shows an average day(s) of a cat's life. Nothing really exciting happens and the writing/details is very easy to understand overall.
As Luna hails from Australia I very much liked the references to real life places and facts/events that I didn't really know about. What added to the story in my opinion is the addition of photos. It's fun to see Luna and her siblings as well as other things. Still, this was a quick and enjoyable read despite lacking a particular sense of oomph.

Illustrated with family photographs of people, animals and places, and told with simple diary-like text, Luna Challis’s Luna, the Autobiography of a SuperCat (offspring of mom, Batman, and dad, Superwoman) tells the life story of a cat born on a naval land-base in Australia, growing up with Humans, and enjoying a fairly normal cat life. The point of view is nicely feline, especially when the young cats try to return to their mother, and when the wandering cat is chased away from a cage full of precious birds.
Luna explores her neighborhood, meets animals and people, learns how cows are milked, how foxes came to Australia, and other fascinating facts. An invitation to befriend Luna on Facebook is nicely preceded by the suggestion that only someone related to cats could invent such a clever place.
Many different animals are photographed and places visited in the pages of this book making it a pleasing short read, and a nice introduction to cats and Australia--easy reading for early readers with some facts to fascinate those who can read by themselves.

And interesting short story.
I wonder if it could be considered as 'biography' because to me it's like a short story about cat named Luna that was told from Luna's perspective. Although maybe it was based on true story, but since the one who wrote this book is a human, I'm not sure the cat really thinks about things that way lol
But still an entertaining story and it was free on Amazon by the time I downloaded it, so yeah. It was an okay read for me.

Wrong book, correct author. lol
A nice sweet story seen from the perspective of the cat Luna who goes onto a trip to Canada with it's owners and the reader is taken on a tour with the cat and Luna to favorite tourist spots.
It is a sweet book, the photos are a nice touch and I look forward seeing how this author grows the craft of storytelling.

This is a very good book for elementary kids. Easily understood by the young, entertaining and has some nice pictures to look at.

Simple read
A cat tells it's life adventures. It wasn't what I expected and I found it boring pretty quickly. Some cat lovers may enjoy it.
