Twenty-four stories from combat survivors, ranging from WWII and Vietnam to the Gulf War. Each begins with a Bible verse. One story is about soldier who missed the Pan Am 103 flight, which will give you goosebumps.

I was confused by Carlos's Story #2 because at the end it says that "Today, Woody Williams is ninety-four year old. . . . " Perhaps it was Wood's story?

At the end is a short note, a glossary, and a Bibliography which only incudes two Bibles.
