This was a very odd read that I really only read for a challenge requirement. The heroine gets on a plane only to find herself stranded on an island after the plane goes down. She gets random visits from a few Gods who basically tell her it’s up to her to get them off of the island and all she has to do is make a choice, oh and have a baby, no pressure!. The men she’s stranded with a were all strangers so that made the whole RH aspect feel forced and a bit awkward. She basically has separate relationships with them all and still this all happens in only a few days. While the concept was odd I think perhaps fleshed out this book would be a lot better. None of the men were all that likable either so it made the whole thing feel forced. Ok read if you’re looking for something super quick and pretty unbelievable 😂

A trans-continental flight runs into turbulence, and the six passengers in first class crash... on a deserted tropical island? Turns out the Greek gods have marooned them together to learn something about themselves.
Fate of the Gods pleasantly surprised me. It's well written, and the characters are quite interesting. There's not a lot of depth to the novel, given the length, but for a novella the characters are well developed. The relationship between Rose and each of her men is unique, and the mythology-based premise makes this different from other reverse harem romances.

From the start things are a bit off kilter on the plane, then waking up on a deserted island with four hotties?! The plot thickens, and then gets twisty, and steamy. Fun spin on a reverse harem story, characters from mythology only enrich the tale. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Lame. The idea was there but it wasn’t executed properly.

I received this book as a gift to read, I am going to try my best to give an honest opinion of what I read.
I don’t think that I have ever read anything quit like this story. Yes, it grabbed me from the very start because it caught my curiosity. I didn’t know what was going to happen next. It did leave one question in my mind and that was how on earth did they landed where they had. Of course it had me captured by the plane crashing and Rose finding the other men that had survived. The author describes everything in such vivid detail make the seances sound either the most beautiful of things or kind of scary.
It is slowly brought to their attention by Henry the male flight attendant, who despite his very clean appearance when the found him on their first night there that Henry’s tells them is real name is Hermes ( the god of trade or messenger of the god). He told them they were their to find the truths about themselves. However Rose had the most important part of all to fulfill. She was to not only help the four men with her but she had three days to choose. What she was to choose she was not sure of. But at the time they were in their mortal form and that they needed to accept who they really were. So for the next three days Rose along with Asher, Beau, Ryder, and Dexter. With the help of the other gods that show themselves to her during this time; they have their eyes opened to some of the most surprising and interesting information about themselves.
This is really a good book. There is so much more I could say about the story but I don’t want to give any more of it away than I have. All I can do is to encourage you if you are looking for something that is a little bit different. This is the book for you.

Rose is an ultra-attractive young model who recently tried her hand at acting. Rose is heading home; flying cross country from LA to New York. A strange male flight attendant seats her, telling her that they were waiting for the “VIP” to show, and to not remove her seatbelt. Rose finds this odd, but forgettable. Not too long into the flight, an engine malfunction brings the plane down…. But where?
When Rose regains consciousness, she discovers that the plane crashed on an island. How is this possible? The flight was cross country, not across the ocean! But Rose has greater concerns: any other survivors? If so, how many and where? Are there any salvageable medical supplies, food or clothes? How long will she be marooned here before being rescued?
Rose soon discovers that four men have also survived the crash: Asher, the caterer; Ryder, a mysterious green-eyed stranger; Beau, a tattooed, Hawaiian surfer and Dexter, an academic with an almost eidetic memory. Rose immediately notices that all four men are above average in their male beauty and intelligence; she also realizes that all four were in first class with her…
The sudden re-appearance of the strange male flight attendant is almost more than Rose can comprehend, but what he tells her is even more unbelievable…. Rose is the key; she has three days: three days to discover who she really is, and to choose… one, two, four or none…. Three days to make a decision that will forever alter her life and the lives of the four men.
Wow, what a ride! Fast paced, intense, with flashes of humor, Laura Wylde delivers once again! An enjoyable read, with some sexual scenarios; meant for mature audiences 18+.

I can say that I have never read a book like this. The storyline was a bit odd, but unique. A flight from California to New York crashes into the ocean. Despite all the passengers and crew onboard the plane, 5 passengers (4 males and one female...who are all above average in looks) in first class appear to be the only survivors. They are stranded on an island where they are trying to figure out how they crashed into an ocean when they shouldn't have even gone over the ocean. The first night, Henry appears. He was the flight attendant who reveals that he is actually Hermes, the god of trade and one of the cleverest and mischievous of the Greek gods. He visits the group to tell them this crash was no accident. They have 3 days to figure out the truth about themselves...then he disappears in a cloud of smoke. Left confused, they all think they are going crazy.
All five of this group show different strengths. Rose, Asher, Beau, Ryder, and Dexter get to know one another and learn to accept who they are. As Rose spends time with each man separately, she gets visits from the real Greek gods to let her know who these men are descendants from. Rose discovers that she has the most important part in this...To choose who she wants to have a child with. So, they all agree to be share Rose. (Weird arrangement but it went well with the book knowing what gods they were related to).
I liked the greek mythology added in this book. It was well written and I did enjoy this book. Read it with an open mind. I'm sure you will enjoy it too.

Rose had just boarded a plane when she met a very peculiar man called Henry. He was a flight attendant and was very excited to see Rose, calling her the VIP of the flight. Rose was very confused. But she was happy to be getting away. She had just broke up with her Ex boyfriend Trevor, he had turned into a total control freak, it was unhealth. It wasn't long into the flight that Rose heard a loud boom and screaming that the plane was on fire. The next thing Rose knew she woke on a beach on a island. None of this made sense they were meant to be flying over America. Rosa started to look around for survivors and couldn't believe her eyes when she met 4 hunks of men called Dexter, Asher, Beau and Ryder. Rose was stunningly beautiful and the men were so handsome they could of done their own calendar's. They were settling at the lagoon when they heard what sounded like another big explosion. they all decided to investigate. And low and behold there sat Henry. The peculiar man on the plane. He looked like he had just walked off a cat walk not survived a plane crash.
This is where the story really take off I don't want to give any spoilers and I don't want to ruin the storyline.
This is a amazing book that just keeps giving its brilliant

I have a huge reading habit and takes something extra special for me to sit up and take notice and this book did that it was a totally unique premise I have never read anything even remotely like it This book grabbed me from the first page and it never let me go until I turned that last page.

When the plane crashes she and four men are left stranded Ryder who helps couples have children, Beau a surfer, Dexter the injured professor and Asher the adonis. When the little steward appears again to tell them a decision has to be made it starts something that can't be undone. You need to read to see what the secret is that binds theses five.

A choreographed effort by mysterious forces gathers five strangers, one women and five men together to experience something amazing, an event which will change their lives forever because of their unique connection.
This was a story with an interesting premise and storyline, though not what I would label as a true reverse harem when compared to others I have read and reviewed. I would have liked to have read more detail in terms of the individual gods and a deeper explanation of “Henry’s” motivation to round out the story more. Perhaps a bit of an abrupt transition of the survivors from the island to civilization for me.

I was excited about the concept of this story when I started reading it. I did like how they had hints about who they are, but I've read books similar to this before. The Gods are what kept me interested. The description of the island and their environment was outstanding. I could see the lagoon and the beauty around them. I did feel like it wasn't a true reverse harem story, but it was still really good. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

After the end of a destructive personal relationship, Rose’s professional life was finally progressing as she had wished. Another tragedy occurred, but was very helpful in her personal growth. I loved this storyline and the incorporation of the mythology references was genius. I feel in love with all of the characters, except perhaps Hermès. This is not your typical reverse harem story. Very good read.

Rose was destined to meet Dexter, Beau, Asher, and Ryder; but I'm sure she would have picked a safer way if given the choice. Being trapped on an island with mysteries to unravel on a deadline brought the five of them together super fast. I laughed at all the gods and goddesses popping up and scaring Rose half to death. I so loved the six degrees of separation and all the truths that were discovered while on the island.

I absolutely loved this book! What fun it was to read! Not about the airplane crash, oh no, it's sort of incidental. These 5 people were 'destined' to end up on this island together to discover themselves and each other. Because they are gods. They all have a good laugh with that but as the hours pass and gods appear, their minds slowly change. It's all good fun and very enjoyable. Love it.

Descendants Stranded in Paradise
This was a very interesting story, with the Greek Gods/Goddesses influences, and the RH theme. Finding truths and making choices to escape the island, while growing closer together and learning about each other, leads to them being stronger people capable of relationships. The last ten percent or so is all steam, and I didn’t mind one bit! I’d be interested to see what the future looked like for this group.

This is a good book the story is different than the usual. Four people are thrown together by destiny. When their plane crashes and they are the only ones on a deserted island no one knows quite what to think. This book is full of action, fun and steam. The book is a standalone so you don't need to worry about waiting for another release.

The characters and the story were interesting. The concept of being children of the gods was entertaining and the author handled it well. I would recommend this if you like reverse harems and are looking for a light entertaining read. I actually give this 3 1/2 stars.

Definitely an interesting twist on the descendants of Greek gods. The story kept things light and sexy. One beautiful woman and four gorgeous men. You would think things would really get steamy but actually no. There is heat but it is all kept m/f. Add in some curveballs and you have a sweet reverse harem.

Oh my
This was a little strange to start out, but those Greek gods did like to talk in riddles. Not sure what it would be like to date 4 different men at the same time. What amazes me is none of the 4 men are jealous of the others. Just goes to show that descendants of the Greek gods have no form of what real couples should be. Greedy gods.

medium bun RH. Interesting twist with the greek gods interfering with the lives of 5 individuals. Without giving any spoilers, it's hard to say what happens, but it is an intriguing story about learning truths and not following the normal dictates of todays views on relationships and women.
