Here in B.C. talking about the state of B.C.'s forests is like talking about coal in West Virginia. Everybody has an opinion and usually a strong one at that. Mark leiren-Young takes representatives from all sides of the debate and gives them a chance to say their piece. The main focus of the book is on how to achieve sustainable logging over the old way of clear cutting.
