Autograph Hell is a great resource to anyone that enjoys autograph collecting! I am an avid reader, and enjoy going to events that feature my favorite authors. At the events, they always do a book signing. Reading this book made me realize that documenting my meeting with the author is very important. Whether it be with a photo, or ticket from the event, proof that I was there and actually obtained the autograph myself is very important for authentication purposes! I had no idea!

I used to collect autographs. By that I mean I wrote a letter to celebrities requesting their autographs. The kind of collecting referred to in this book is people who pay $10,000 or some other insane sum for a freaking signature on a piece of paper. Still, I thought reading about the dark side of it might be interesting. Spoiler: it wasn't.
