Happy Christmas Boris!

This festive frolic sees Santa entrusting Boris to deliver the presents to all the little monsters. Totally enthusiastic, as usual, he might need a bit of help, but Boris is going to save the day! In order to say thank you, Santa dyes his beard orange to honour Santa-Boris.

About the author

Sam Lloyd studied at Brighton University where she gained a BA Hons in Illustration. Now Sam is the author and illustrator of many successful picture books for children. Her picture books include Happy Day, Sad Dog which won the Sainsbury’s Baby Book Award in 2003, Mr Pusskins which won the Booktrust Pre-School Award in 2006 and the V & A Illustration Award. Most recently Calm Down Boris published by Templar in 2006 has been chosen by Richard and Judy for their Christmas Picks.

As well as writing and illustrating books, Sam also enjoys yoga, swimming, camping and doing outdoorsy things. She has been all over the world, including travels to India and Australia. Sam also does a lot of voluntary work with children, painting murals.

Not as good as the original Boris story, or other books in the series. The story seemed to lack direction and wasn't as fun as the original book.

I liked this more than my kids but think it’s a sign my kids are getting a little older - this is perfect for toddlers to 4yo; fun and interactive.

Perhaps I'm a grinch but I really don't get this story. It's about Boris the Monster who helps Santa with Christmas. The writing is pretty terrible -- it's really all just a gimmick for the hand puppet which is used throughout the book. My son does enjoy the puppet.
