The author calls these easy & simple, recipes to make ahead and have in your freezer for un-expected company & guests, for everyday family meals and for after school snacks. Great ideal. Un-processed, homemade food is so much better that the chemical laden store bought treats. The problem is the author is obviously a professional baker by trade. Most recipes have at least 25-30 ingredients and 1-3 pages of instructions. For a special occasion like baking ahead for holidays this cookbook may be helpful. For the everyday, my normal chocolate chip recipe doubled and then put in the freezer is a lot simpler.
