The goal of the Didache Series is to present the basic doctrinal, scriptural, moral, and sacramental, tenets of the Catholic Church in a comprehensive, accessible way. The books of the Didache Series rely on authoritative sources such as Sacred Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the lives of the saints, the Fathers of the Church, the General Directory for Catechesis, and the teachings of Vatican II as witnessed by the pontificate of Pope John Paul II.
Very good introduction to morality book! The first part covers the definition of good and evil, laws, and such. The second part dives into the details of morality by covering the Ten Commandments in detail.
This book has a nice discussion of human freedom, what it is and how it is limited by our nature and status as creatures of God. Also has a good discussion of the commandments as applied to modern life.
