Enjoy!

Noisy, jolly, fun, acerbic—the late Jennifer Paterson had a legion of friends and admirers. From her job as a cook for the Spectator, where she was famously sacked for throwing the dishes out the window, to her phenomenal success as half of the "Two Fat Ladies" duo, Jennifer roared through life—riotous and rude in equal parts—endearing herself to all who knew her. Here, friends, colleagues, and fellow cooks, including A.N. Wilson, Clarissa Dickson Wright, and Peter Ackroyd, write about Jennifer as they knew an energetic promoter of no-nonsense cooking, a hilarious social companion, a hugely successful television personality, and a kind friend.

A wonderful memorial to a very interesting woman. This book helped us view her life from various perspectives, and it was an honest and heartfelt tribute.

Great fun. Very insightful to hear the ridiculous and riotous anecdotes from a certain 70/80s West London set, a coterie which has almost entirely slid into the past. Do note, regardless of your knowledge/interest in Jennifer prior, all small/big C conservatives will do well not to be enamoured by this collection. As Jeniffer would say, enjoy!

A nice tribute to Jennifer, written by several bonkers conservatives who waffle on quite a lot.

an enjoyable little romp & look at various aspects of Jennifer's life; as the events are recounted, there is much humour & humanity. it is very easy to imagine Jennifer & how she would have spoken & acted; typical of her manner in the tv series!
