Meh......second book I have read by this author. I really struggle with her heroines.

I liked the beginning and thought it'd be a 5-star book. The second half? Kind of bland.
Kathryn is a successful photographer who has to go on an assignment with the man she hates. He had the nerve to kiss her at the office party 2 months ago. And she's terrified she'll succumb to temptation. Kate and Rex are to meet a famous actress and her fiancé. Who happens to be the man from Kate’s past.

This story went in so many different ways. While reading I would think one way and then I was sent in another direction. Kate had hidden her feelings from those she worked with, she was given the title ice maiden. She didn't want to be involved with anyone. Along came Rex, he also had his nick name at work. But he ignored it. They ended up in assignment together. He found out a part of her secret. She had been jilted by her fiancee years before. Could he be the one to help her heal? What will happen when he finds out that there was more to her? I will put this in my to re-read file.
