One of the greatest benefits of the cloud is the ability to get apps up and running in a fraction of time you would need in a conventional scenario. Think of cloud computing like leasing a car. Instead of buying the car outright, you pay a smaller amount each month. It’s the same with cloud computing - you just pay for what you use. But, also like leasing a car, at the end of the lease you don’t own the car. That might be a good thing - the car may be a piece of junk, and in the case of a purchased server, it’s sure to be obsolete.
