Basic and straightforward

This is a no frills recipe book. The author gets right into the recipes, assuming the reader has already decided to go vegetarian. Therefore, the reader does need to be convinced of its benefits. I appreciated that. The recipes are all good building blocks that you can definitely add onto as time or skills allow. For example, there are recipes for polenta and one for scrambled eggs. These are the basics you will need to master to do more intricate recipes. So, this is definitely geared more toward newer cooks or cooks with very little time, who needs a filling, healthy meal in a short time. So, I would recommend this book.if that fits with your goals.

Delicious Healthy Vegetarian

It's amazing how good veggies can taste when combined and seasoned right. Fresh fruit is delicious when it's ripe and in season. I'm not a Vegetarian. I am just looking to add more plant based foods and less processed foods. I am substituting Vegetarian meals 3 nights a week. They taste good and are usually very filling. There's 350 different recipes in the book and they're all pretty inexpensive. I was just feeling really bogged down. I do have more energy, it's only been week. My favorite Recipe are the Black Bean Quinoa Burgers. It's a healthier way to eat and I'm down 3lbs. If you're a Vegetarian thinking about becoming one - these recipes are very tasty.
