Shelves: economics, socialism
Without Feders reputation as the early Nazi ideologue that introduced Hitler to the party, this work would be unremarkable. Feders idea in this work is that interest on money, especially compound interest, is a source of great evil. Through it, we are all impoverished. Without it, taxation could be practically abolished, as the state could fund itself through the enterprises it runs.

This is a book that every person on the planet should read, but most would never do.
It's very sad how for the last 100 years the peoples of the world have not made a single step in the right direction. General George Patton really was right when he said "We defeated the wrong enemy".

This is an excellent book and this is the only legitimate translation out there (there's another one that's totally wonky). Most people have never thought about living without the idea of interest, but Feder lays out the problem quite clearly as well as the brilliant solution to it. It's a must read for anyone interested in debt, interest, or economics.
