This reference book is an excellent resource for improving and expanding one’s collection of classical music CDs and DVDs. Moreover, it is useful in enhancing one’s knowledge of serious music. Although some of the recommended recordings listed in this guide are no longer readily available, it is not too difficult to procure them with a search and a little effort.
