I bought this book without having any background on it, something I don't do frequently, yet it worked out very nicely in this case. There was a lot of information packed into this little volume, yet it was presented in a way that was not overwhelming for a beginning to mid-level student of Web design. I keep it in my office and refer to it frequently. If you are looking for a solid introduction to web design concepts that does not read like a textbook, this is for you.
