This book is a very specialized text meant for you if you are into running (and that shouldn't be surprising as the name suggests that) . The first part of the book can be read through as a general information which will be relevant to most readers. The second part of the book dealing with injuries in best read with a specific objective in mind . I browsed through the specific and recurring problems I have face while running/training for long distance races and understanding the common thread in them helped me isolate the root problem . I didn't find the book very helpful in finding long term solution or eliminating the problem..... but that one can easily find on the internet resources available. I found this to be a good compendium for regular runners.

Pictures or diagrams of the anatomy or injury would have made this a 5* book. Basic, nothing hard to understand.
