Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).

If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

This is a lovely book of poetry by Canadian poets. I read it out loud to the children and we all enjoyed it very much. While many of the names were familiar to me, most of the poems were not. I enjoy reading new poetry.

This was an absolutely beautiful book. The poems were beautiful and fun to read and gave the reader different ranges of Canadian poetry and voice to Canadian poets. The illustrations were also captivating and beautiful. A book that I wish I could give myself despite being for children. Highly recommend for people wanting to expose their kids/students to more Canadian works or poetry.
